Igbos voted for Obasanjo in 1999 when Alex Ekwueme, Emmanuel Iwuanywu, Emeka Ojukwu etc contested the same position.

In 2023, Igbos voted for Obasanjo against Ojukwu, Ebitu Ukiwe etc etc.

Igbos always access candidates and they always know who is better. They never voter Buhari because they knew he was a disaster and Buhari effortlessly proved Igbos right. In 2023, they voted against Tinubu like all well meaning Nigerians. A man like Tinubu should not be president of Nigeria or of my other country. Igbos would have voted Yemi Osibanjo, Akin Akiwummi, Femi Kayode etc etc if APC had fielded any of them. Tinubu is bad for leadership anywhere people mean business. This is why in his inaugural speech, he started destroying our economy. Till date, dude still maintains he is right and he took a wise decision.
