Any type of scholarship that comes from public funds from Germany or EU
So your school scholarship too will suffice for Cat A

Yes someone was able to reschedule for a week later with proof that he was still trying to send his SL from Germany

So my wife got daad scholarship to study in Germany. During the application process she was asked to upload our marriage certificate and we did all of that.
What I want to know now is - are we applying for our visas together? And how long would it take for mine to be approved as her dependent or whatever it is called.

Germany doesn’t do “dependent visa” instead they do “family reunion visa” which is roughly about 21 months.
She’ll have to enter the country first before you can go over.

Please I don't understand according to you(I hope u have application that have been made already) Pls kindly help me with the mail of the embassy so as to tell them earlier that they should postpone my AD till around June/July.

From my brothers experience, they said if he had sent an email before the interview day he would have been rescheduled. But because he attended the interview, he was asked to reapply and send the block account confirmation when he receives it. he was given his old application number to reference in his email. He got a new date after 2 days. So I think you need to reapply and then send the document ontop of the email confirmation with some explanation. Looks like you need to have an active application in the system they can work with.
You shouldn’t worry you’ll be rescheduled in no time. All the best.

Check last pages or two, I posted the emails. Wait until you get AD before you message them. Also, make applications and show them proof that you're waiting for winter admission because AD did not come earlier due to the waiting time

My friend went for her interview in January, her block account was not confirm at that time. So he went with the payslip of the transaction. He showed Mr. Paulinus and he was cleared. However, the visa officer, refuse to interview him, because the block account was not ready. He pleaded that he will send it as soon as it is confirmed but didn’t work. The following day he got the block account confirmation and he send it to them.
Now, they´re asking him to re-apply.
Is he going to wait for two years again?

Since it's not your turn yet, they won't respond to a reschedule without a sure appointment. They're rescheduling you because you don't have complete documents. That's because they won't interview you without complete docs

He should email and copy all the other consulate emails and inform them his docs are ready.

I suspect she already told him to reapply on that day and he said yes. We've said it here since January that you should not go to the interview with incomplete documents rather send them an email. Many people got rescheduled here but People want to try their luck. All the best to him

What of those that applied via the old portal and are patiently on the waiting list? Is ours still valid?? Do we need to make a new appointment via the new consular portal?
