I read the Imam of Lekki central mosque saying muslims should not vote any candidate that will not allow Sharia courts to be introduced and I laugh because he's just fooling himself. Most of the people he's addressing cannot even live in compliance with Sharia codes ; I get many of them as friend. I get like 2 friends wey be princes from different kingdoms on that Lagos Island/Eti Osa who are both Muslims and still engage in serious traditional rites like eyo masqurade, celebrating traditional festivals like Ogun, etc. Shey na person wey dey slaughter dog for Ogun go dey support sharia court?

All these people shouting Sharia court are just few inconsequential extremists like that Ishaq Oloyede(Jamb registrar) that opposed Christian courts way back

Tinubu can never play the religion card, Lagosians especially Islanders hold the Lagosian identity higher than the religion identity. In most ethnic lagos family you have a mix of religions. Numerically there more Christians in Lagos than Muslims, so it would be foolish to play religious card, same goes for Ogun State, Ekiti & Ondo, maybe Oyo and Osun can have Sharia but doubt Oyo would allow... Let see if the Isese people in Osun would allow such nonsense.
If voters have any sense this should be a direct question on the 2027 ballot... especially in governorship elections in SW state.
