Good Afternoon all,please its like they've moved all Categories for student visas to the consular portal(the new digital portal). What of those that applied via the old portal and are patiently on the waiting list? Is ours still valid?? Do we need to make a new appointment via the new consular portal?
Someone with a valid idea should please kindly clarify this. Thank you!

Applicants that previously booked for an appointment and already have a registration number don’t need to create an account on the Foreign Portal.

They will receive an appointment once it’s their turn. The Consulate schedules appointments in strict chronological order of the waiting list.
The list is still valid!

Once all applicants from the waiting list have received an appointment, applicants who have registered themselves on the Foreign Portal will receive an appointment.

The stuff is surprising ooo I booked on 19th April 2023 as well and I didn’t get appointment date. Someone who booked 20th didn’t get as well. But one person said she booked on the 23rd and got. Like I was shocked

Someone who booked 22nd April 2023 got a date and also another who booked 23rd got also.

Jaeima is right, they do. Just try as much as possible not to laminate your original documents. That's because they're need to "feel" the seal for documents that have such. There are embassies that request that you remove the lamination. In this case, it most times leads to tear

If you confirmed your registration for an appointment date, (the email they send you with a link to confirm your registration, and that if you don’t within 30 days it will be cancelled) then it’s possible they haven’t actually gotten up till there yet. Wait till Friday, so you can see how it goes.

They still are just that Cat A application is on the new consular website. Although the waiting time says 1year I doubt that is the case but we can’t tell yet has no one has gotten an appointment date yet since the launch of the website. I applied ending of January and I’m still on the waiting list to send my application. So we’re looking towards 4 weeks waiting time which is the normal period for waiting when applying through the former website. By March, if no email to submit application then we can know what next….

You just need to attest to the fact that documents bearing your different names are equally valid….

Context: The school I am applied to doesn't require language certificates for the master's program I applied to. I have the admission already but seeing the required documents for the Embassy I need to show a language proficiency certificate. The language of study is English.

Do I have to write a proficiency exam again?

Like your affidavit should state that all documents bearing both set of names are valid…the people that do this letter know how to draft it if you explain.

Well for category A, you upload certain documents and fill forms that’ll place you on the waiting list to submit your application for visa. I think once you’re notified to proceed with your application, you can then upload the remaining documents which after examination, they’ll give you an appointment date or tell you documents that are missing. This is what I got from the consular portal…
