Elon actually wants Altman on his side, and I have noticed this a long time ago. When OpenAI sacked Altman, Elon was one of the first to assure him of a place to continue his work. Many offers the guy had coupled with threats of wprkers' resignation forced a new board members to take over the company, and Altman was called back.

Elon is planning something huge.

Honestly, AI is everything. Information is everything. Predictive knowledge is everything.

Elon is going to be the most powerful man on earth very soon. The Republicans may change the law to make him the president of the United States.

Musk is a right wing, family kind of person and wants conservatism back, that's why he wants to control media to force it back on people again. So he has to control the major media sources.
