I only made that statement to show you the faulty reasoning of some of you who attribute every bad thing in Soviet Union to Russians and every good thing in Soviet Union to other republics there. Now, to school you properly, USSR was a union of republics and not just a federation. This means that Ukraine and Georgia were recognised republics within a larger state. Also, each soviet state is linked to an ethnic group, much like the Yorubas are a group within Nigeria. If we have a Yoruba country tomorrow, will you say President Tinubu was not a Yoruba man?

Now answer yes or no:

Was Stalin a Georgian?
Was Kruschev a Ukrainian?
