When Nigeria was in the top 3 most corrupt nations, Nigerians lived better and more peaceful lives in Nigeria.

The irony is almost laughable.

Economic mismanagement and corruption are not the same thing. Let's learn to separate the two. Corruption is not the sole cause of poor economic indices.


Besides, the ranking game is about perception. Perception is not reality in most cases. Fortunately for us, we are perceived to be less corrupt than some countries on the list. It is a win.
