Sigh... Such a painful death.

Many African nations still struggle miserably with emergency services... It's so sad and annoying.

Some of you commenting here don't even have basic fire prevention and fighting skills and equipment in your homes and offices.

There ought to be a law mandating this in every residential building.

A fire extinguisher in that home would have spared their lives.

Another way would've been filling the bathtub with water and submerging the kids in there while help came... That's if they had one.


A lot of you don't even know how to administer simple first aid... These are things you can easily learn for free on YouTube, but you will rather waste data and time on Tiktok and Instagram.

Incidence like this na why oyibo windows no dey get those iron rods as protector for window area.

Look at your bedroom windows and almost all the windows in our homes,m it's like we are trapped inside.

Most houses also have one exit. Even in cases where there is a back door, it's usually not a free passage. House hold items wey dem barely use, na there some people dey gather them out....

So with all of these, in incidents like this, we only have our door to run to. We can't jump out the window.
Even the doors are usually like double. You open the door, then there's a mosquito net door, then there's maybe an iron rod protector too. These we do to prevent bulgars.
But then How safe are we?
