As for your case, I would advise you also let your mom petition for you while your other F4 case is pending. Double petition for immigrant visa is allowed as long as you are qualified for both.

My In-person Document Review appointment was yesterday, same day the email notification was sent to me. These people are unbelievable, they are just trying to do anything to jeopardize my migration. I have been trying to call them to reschedule to no avail. I’m not even in Lagos.

Aestake and Taal17 what do you guys suggest I do now. I’m just confused

Maybe you make sure you have all the documents and appear on your interview date. And try to get hold of them.

Thanks, but somebody just suggested I travel to Lagos on Monday to complain or explain and ask if I could do it that same day without an appointment or ask to be rescheduled at a little bit later date before my interview date.

That’s how it’s supposed to be. I’m just surprised that in my case they had to send it to me on the day of the appointment. Maybe it’s a mistake, but the customer service I called are not even helpful. They all just seem clueless

Y are u disturbing urself instead start preparing to gather all the necessary document needed for your Interview to avoid delay of your visa process,when you finish your Interview the consular will tell u d next step to take as per Account creation.

US embassy is not that efficient and with Trump...Lord have mercy! They would tell you to drop off a document in Abuja when they know Abuja Embassy wouldn't take it. My friend's brother's visas (fam of 5) have not been issued since last November, after couriering and submitting the documents to Lagos.

I heard too. I'm just going to go today, then stay in a hotel and then barge in there very early in the morning on Tuesday. I just hope they attend to me without appointment seeing as they were the one who messed up.

Do they need the chat history, birth certificate and cash transfer receipt for the In-person document review or for the interview or for both?. I'm asking because those criminals at the embassy made me print a lot of irrelevant documents that is not needed today for a huge some of money (2000 per a page)😡😡😡😡🫤

But they all assured me that it can be done on the day of my interview. They said probably they would give me another date for my interview if they don't finish reviewing my files on time on that day.

They all said that there have been cases of people missing their In-person document review and still went ahead to get interviewed. They assured me I have nothing to worry about as long as all my required documents are available on that day.

Pls disregard my earlier question on the outcome. I just saw this and this was my initial belief when you missed the in-person document review date. Pls gather all they want; not easy going to Lagos back and forth even for folks in Lagos. Don't go to the pavilion any more oo.

You need to relax and don't stress .
Those guys around the embassy area do what they do because they trust that ppl will anxious and question even what they already know
