After days in captivity, the kidnappers demanded a huge ransom, which the victim’s family managed to gather and pay. However, instead of releasing him, the gang brutally murdered him and dumped his body in a remote area.

This case is heartbreaking but not uncommon. Criminals often rely on insider information to target their victims, making it crucial for people to be discreet about their finances, routines, and personal details.

Kidnappings -for-ransom is on the rise, with criminals using informants in communities to track potential victims.
