EmperorCaesar:In my opinion, the reverse is the case for the bolded. If a man bribes his way to secure a contract, he will not care about quality because he knows it means little to nothing to his contractees. He knows a bribe will make them approve any standard for him, so long as he is willing to pay. I don't blame Trump for it is the responsibility of the foreign country to prosecute them if they commit bribery, not the home country. How many times have you heard Nigeria prosecuting someone for committing a crime abroad? Many of our politicians are even convicted felons abroad, but the Nigerian court will tell you it doesn't matter since it happened outside Nigeria. |

SmartPolician:If America say “we should jail all Nigerian men today” believe me, Nigerians will still say “let’s be honest, Nigerian men deserve this. We’ve not been paying taxes to the US government for years now and we should probably go to jail for this. Yes America is right” lol. Always finding excuse for these countries. Always justifying what they did, what they will do and what they won’t do. Because of course they run a perfect system. We will be fine one day |

EmperorCaesar:You see nothing wrong with bribing officials? Do you even know the repercussions of such actions? Which can lead to low quality projects and even loose of life due to substandard products because "they already bribed officials" Oga, your reasoning is so skewed I begin to wonder if there's a special activity happening in your head. |

SmartPolician:It's like you smoke something high?! Where is the ethics in all this or you think countries operate like a mafia group?! Countries enact such law to show that all the monies repatriated into them are legit businesses from their hardworking citizens. The law was even of benefit to the US companies, if company A cannot bribe because it's a US company, you'd understand they won the bid because of their expertise and nothing more |

RichDaniels:Unfortunately the world doesn't work like that anymore. China, India and middle eastern company have shown U can bribe and still get the job done. China bribe our govt officials steady yet they are the ones building our infrastructure. Lebanese have a monopoly of cashew export in Nigeria, it's a crazy cartel. U as a Nigerian cannot get that export license even if U have the money. U think it's ordinary, those guys are in bed with our corrupt govt officials. But say whatever, the lebanese are doing a good job and have created a strong logistics channel as far as remote Nigerian villages to ensure steady cashew export flow. This is 2025, it's no longer a western-centirc world anymore. The west had better adjust or they will be left behind. That's why I like Donald Trump. He understands how the world works in 2025, unlike those other moronic western leaders still using 1990 textbook to address 21st century problems. Note, Donald trump may have his own issues and I don't agree with him always e.g blank and blind use of tariff, his plan for Palestine. But he's far better and smarter than any western leader right now. |

I had Things in Mind to say but this Guy SIRtee15 has said it all!!! Chinese has zero tolerance for Corruption in China but are all over Africa bribing Govt Officials to Get things done, LikeWise Arab Nations and other Countries It's the duty of Our Govt to institute a serious fight against corruption and not FBI. Trump is smart, it's either You change with the changing world or you get knocked out like Black berry, etc and now Nokia The struggle for world power is Real!!! |
