Digitmktguru:Jehovah is assuring His loyal worshipers that as the Creator of both the things we know as GOOD and things we know as EVIL there is no need for fear as long as He is on our side! Psalms 118:6 There was a time when a king decided to roast God's servants in fire but Jehovah proved that He knows all the gasses that formed fire by changing its course and turning the gasses into air conditioner but what really proves that Jehovah is the Creator is how the same furnace that killed Nebuchadnezzar's mighty men became like cooler for Shadrach Meshak and Abednego {Daniel 3:1-25} we all know that lions are predators so when Daniel was thrown in the lion's den these predators became like domestic animals but the same lions devour those who schemed how Daniel was thrown into their den! Daniel 6:12-26 So Jehovah who created darkness and light has the power to switch them even death is nothing before Jehovah because He has power to restore the dead back to life! John 11:17-44 ![]() |

Digitmktguru:Isaiah was sending God's message to a foreign king, Cyrus, whom according to other scriptures in the Bible played a critical role in fulfilling prophecy concerning Israel. God choose him because of Israel, verse 4. Isa.45.4 "And why have I called you for this work? It is for the sake of Jacob my servant, Israel my chosen one. I called you by name when you did not know me. Cryus wasn't a Hebrew so he didn't know the God of Israel, but he obviously knew "other" gods and that's why the following verses seem like an introduction to him. Read the verses 5-7 together I am the LORD; there is no other God. I have prepared you, even though you do not know me, so all the world from east to west will know there is no other God. I am the LORD, and there is no other. I am the one who creates the light and makes the darkness. I am the one who sends good times and bad times. I, the LORD, am the one who does these things. Cyrus was Persian, and like the Greeks they believed in many gods of which they took the ones who represented light and the one representing darkness and chaos as there highest ranking gods. Even among scientists they don't believe someone make the vast light and vast darkness. God's introduction is this, first off, those are not gods there is only one God which is me Jehovah and I formed all those things you are taking as a god, everything that occurs is because of me, be it a storm at sea, draught or rain on land, there are no special gods for those things. I alone do them. It may be hard to believe that just one God does all of that, but that's the reason there is none like Him, the Almighty and that Cryus is the reason you should believe what He is telling you. Isn't it even weirder that even those who claim God created all things, don't want to accept that God created darkness even when it was clearly stated in Genesis. The worse is, they begin to deny that God formed light as well, claiming light as always been from the beginning. Whether you believe in Jesus the true light or Satan who is evil, know that both were created by God and both were given there rewards, Jesus eternal life and Satan death. Nether Jesus who DOESN'T claim to be a god but submits to God nor Satan who claims to be a god, are God. From verse 8 "Rain down, you heavens, from above, And let the skies pour down righteousness; Let the earth open, let them bring forth salvation, And let righteousness spring up together. I, the LORD, have created it. "Destruction is certain for those who argue with their Creator. Does a clay pot ever argue with its maker? Does the clay dispute with the one who shapes it, saying, `Stop, you are doing it wrong!' Does the pot exclaim, `How clumsy can you be!' .... 12. I am the one who made the earth and created people to live on it. With my hands I stretched out the heavens. All the millions of stars are at my command. I will raise up Cyrus to fulfill my righteous purpose, and I will guide all his actions. He will restore my city and free my captive people--and not for a reward! I, the LORD Almighty, have spoken!" This is what the LORD says: "The Egyptians, Ethiopians, and Sabeans will be subject to you. They will come to you with all their merchandise, and it will all be yours. They will follow you as prisoners in chains. They will fall to their knees in front of you and say, `God is with you, and he is the only God.'" But the LORD will save the people of Israel with eternal salvation. They will never again be humiliated and disgraced throughout everlasting ages. For the LORD is God, and he created the heavens and earth and put everything in place. He made the world to be lived in, not to be a place of empty chaos. "I am the LORD," he says, "and there is no other. I publicly proclaim bold promises. I do not whisper obscurities in some dark corner so no one can understand what I mean. And I did not tell the people of Israel to ask me for something I did not plan to give. I, the LORD, speak only what is true and right. "Gather together and come, you fugitives from surrounding nations. What fools they are who carry around their wooden idols and pray to gods that cannot save! Consult together, argue your case, and state your proofs that idol worship pays. Who made these things known long ago? What idol ever told you they would happen? Was it not I, the LORD? For there is no other God but me--a just God and a Savior--no, not one! Let all the world look to me for salvation! For I am God; there is no other. Do you understand? |

gohf:Are you saying that God is the one that causes innocent and good people to suffer and die? Did God create the devil to do evil? |
| Re: God Form The Light And Create Darkness, He Make Peace, And Create Evil. Isaiah 4 by gohf: 11:55am On Feb 12, 2025 |
Truthseeker10:It is written in Gen.3.17-19, God said And to Adam he said, "Because you listened to your wife and ate the fruit I told you not to eat, I have placed a curse on the ground. All your life you will struggle to scratch a living from it. It will grow thorns and thistles for you, though you will eat of its grains. All your life you will sweat to produce food, until your dying day. Then you will return to the ground from which you came. For you were made from dust, and to the dust you will return." Peter wrote in 1Pet.2.19 - 23 For God is pleased with you when, for the sake of your conscience, you patiently endure unfair treatment. Of course, you get no credit for being patient if you are beaten for doing wrong. But if you suffer for doing right and are patient beneath the blows, God is pleased with you. This suffering is all part of what God has called you to. Christ, who suffered for you, is your example. Follow in his steps. He never sinned, and he never deceived anyone. He did not retaliate when he was insulted. When he suffered, he did not threaten to get even. He left his case in the hands of God, who always judges fairly. And in 1Pet.4.1 - So then, since Christ suffered physical pain, you must arm yourselves with the same attitude he had, and be ready to suffer, too. For if you are willing to suffer for Christ, you have decided to stop sinning. Instead, be very glad--because these trials will make you partners with Christ in his suffering, and afterward you will have the wonderful joy of sharing his glory when it is displayed to all the world. Be happy if you are insulted for being a Christian, for then the glorious Spirit of God will come upon you. If you suffer, however, it must not be for murder, stealing, making trouble, or prying into other people's affairs. But it is no shame to suffer for being a Christian. Praise God for the privilege of being called by his wonderful name! So if you are suffering according to God's will, keep on doing what is right, and trust yourself to the God who made you, for he will never fail you. In Hebrews 12:7-8 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons. For your second question, it is written in Ezek.28.12 - 17 "Son of man, weep for the king of Tyre. Give him this message from the Sovereign LORD: You were the perfection of wisdom and beauty. I ordained and anointed you as the mighty angelic guardian. You had access to the holy mountain of God and walked among the stones of fire. "You were blameless in all you did from the day you were created until the day evil was found in you. Your great wealth filled you with violence, and you sinned. So I banished you from the mountain of God. I expelled you, O mighty guardian, from your place among the stones of fire. Your heart was filled with pride because of all your beauty. You corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendor. So I threw you to the earth and exposed you to the curious gaze of kings. Also in Isaiah 14:13-16 You said in your heart, "I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of God; I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly, on the utmost heights of the sacred mountain. I will ascend above the tops of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.Yet you shall be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. Everyone there will stare at you and ask, `Can this be the one who shook the earth and the kingdoms of the world?" Do you understand? |

| Re: God Form The Light And Create Darkness, He Make Peace, And Create Evil. Isaiah 4 by gohf: 1:26pm On Feb 12, 2025 |
Truthseeker10:If you read it, you would not have asked "all verses" If you did not understand something, you would have pointed it out from the answer I gave. If an answer is already given and you repeat the question it can mean either you didn't read it or you didn't understand it. If you don't read it, it is either because you can't read or you choose not to read it, now which of these two should be a good enough reason to answer you again? If you didn't understand it then tell me what and where you did not understand? This is what I asked you, but you are repeating, "show me God caused an innocent and good person to suffer for doing nothing bad." Meaning you are ignoring the answer I have given you, what is the point of answering of you when you will ignore it 🤷 either you open you eyes and see that I have shown you already or you can continue being ignorant ignoring what was shown to you. |
