Methinks not everybody fancies the idea of erecting mansions in their villages. I also don't buy the idea of building mansions that will not be out to use for most part of the year. It just looks like wasting money to me.

This is not uniquely a nigerian thing, some people have city pads and country home in this same abroad. All the cars these musicians park in their garages they are also used sparingly, I have a cousin here who has 5 bikes worth thousands $$ that he only drives at the weekend in his garage, never made sense to me but the joy on his face at the weekend makes it worth it, not everything is RoI.

Build where? Where do I have a real connection with like that? My Fathers hometown where they barely know me, And building in some parts of Lagos no make sense.

I see one guy video wey dem dey call Lagos houses $5m. The one wey I dey live for Yankee with good roads, good schools and good infrastructures sef no reach that

Anytime I come to Naija, I go stay for hotel an max na 2weeks in a year some years sef, I wont step into Naija

The oil company. It holds more potential for career progression and opportunities than financial services.
