That is because we tolerate nonsense in this country. I have always wondered why Nigerians will be making noise online, claiming to be giants of Africa when we cant even solve a single light problem. All over the country, even in state capitals, even in big states, Nigerians go to be bed without electricity. They battle with heats, battle with Mosquitoes. But our own headache is to be dragging giant of Africa online with Ghana and South Africa. We are the most shameless citizens on earth. I know how South Africans disturbed their politicians when their electricity became a bit bad as at last year. They made it very uncomfortable and made it trend online. They disturbed their politicians until they started fixing it. But here, we will go and install solar, buy gen, we will never disturb politcians, we will jst keep shut and be bragging online as giants. Giants with extremely poor citizens who have no electricity at hospitals. I installed total of 5kva solar and u know that is expensive. Shame! I was at the hopsital, private hospital, no electricity, they are using solar. When they wanted to run test on me, they turned on the inverter. Heat was dealing with the doctors. Guy, f^ck this nation, it is a total failure. I dont blame the leaders, I blame us, we allowed it. I just get angry when I see Nigerians bragging online. How can a failed country be bragging?

I believe the Nigerian government pushed the national grid to its limits in 2024 just to justify enforcing the Band A electricity tariff. The constant grid collapses were not just coincidences, they were signs of a system being wickedly overworked. Now, they can’t stretch it any further, and we’re left with Band A and an even worse power supply.

I recently visited JB South Africa, and I was left with shame. Is the road, the landscape, the electricity, or the credit system. I feel sad daily.

This is what most Nigerians dont want to accept. A friend visited Tunisia and left in shock. Many African countries have well working system more than we do, yet we are all over Twitter, making noise and disturbing everyone's peace and dragging giants of AFrica with others. I mena, we dont have any thing working here. I am not kidding you, nothing works here. From health care to electricity, to transportation, to education, nothing works the way it should. It is all mediocre. A close business person of mine visited Morocco and told me that they are years ahead of Nigeria.
We have problems that are very shameful. How can patients be bringing their own generator to Hospitals before they can get treatment? How? Is that not too shameful? Yet, go to tiktok and twitter, what Nigerians are bragging about is that we have best military in Africa and we can defeat all African military. Man, we dont have electricity and u are here dragging with countries that have working electricity. Are we not sick? I mean, our politicians actually call us f#ols off camera. If u are close to any politician, ask him what he thinks about Nigerian masses, u will laugh so hard. They actually see the stupidity in us. The f#olishness in us, they see and laugh so hard behind camera. No country aside the most f$olish ones ever will accept all the rubbish we accepted in Nigeria.

The problem with Nigeria is not subsidy!

I can give u the break down of naija headache and we are failed people not to have fixed these.
Number one, the structure is bad!
We arent supposed to be running such a large country with very, very diversed people. The danger of this is that the people can never unite to demand for something from the ruling class. Check out all the successful countries had citizens who protested, demanded and made life really tough for the ruling class. But we cant do that here becus we are divided and the ruling class know this and they kept on with it.

Nigeria was supposed to be run the way UK is run. That means regions run regions.
This way, regions will be able to manage their own resources and population. As it is now, everyone keep giving birth anyhow even without enough resources to care for the population. The politicians cant introduce birth control policy becus the politicians need the illiterate and hungry population to retain power. We have teeming unproductive population and no region is ready to control theirs because it will affect them ruling the center.
The center is too far and too powerful. The US for instance, the center is mainly the one cordinating US interest abroad, the states are independent enough to manage their full affairs.
The center is too corrupt, wastful and because all eyes are on the center, the states are now super useless. So, there is nothing fuel subsidy will do. Except if the masses become active in tackling the ruling class. Unfortunately, the masses cant due to extreme poverty, massive illiteracy and deep ethnic sentiments. It is finished for Nigeria, bro. No hope! Only hope is a leader who would be bold enough to convert this country into regions or states fully.

Oh, lord, we are so loud and we have a completely failed society. Some Nigerians dragging SA. SA that has a working sport sector that has good and solid professionally run local league, swimming league, basketball league, motor sport, volleyball, etc. We actually have nothing working aside raw talents that god gave us. We have nothing functioning here. Guy, nothing works in Nigeria. Not a single stuff works here. Hospitals now ask u to pay extra for fuel. It is a big shame. And instead of us to force these b#stards called politicians to get these things to work, we are busy dragging giat of Africa and making loud noise on twitter. For such a failed country, it is pure st%pidity.
