See where the lecturer made a blunder, I pointed it out earlier too. Please check the meaning of battery according to Nigeria's constitution I have posted previously. Good luck with with your position on Nigerians ladies
Shut up! You have no case. Your line of thoughts stinks. And it's because of people like you that the world is the way it is, breeding monsters who have no caution, intelligence and socio-public relations.

She will end up in jail and criminal record that will ruin her for life..

With a criminal record in her background, the best she can end up with is working at McDonald’s flipping burger or she should go and set up her own business…
What is even funny to me is that her face doesn't look like a trouble maker's own. She looked like she no fit chop one fufu finish.

Till that day, many people around her wouldn't know she's just an innocent looking demon angry
Biting and tearing at the same time grin

She get both vampire and werewolf blood cheesy grin

This is where the story started and ended. The lecturer has no rights whatsoever ever to reach out for her phone or seize it. The university is not a military school or some fraternity. And this is not the 90s where a lecturer can slap a student for little reasons like he refused to greet him.

The case will be long and the girl will graduate while the case is still ongoing. Parents please work on your children to know how to treat elders with respect and sanction over reaching elders respectfully.
See your face like Zuma rock, that was she slapping her lecturer, if her useless parents born her make she try slap her make if she will not receive better slap

The VC assured that appropriate actions and sanctions would be taken based on the outcome of the investigation.
A disturbing incident involving Dr. Chukwudi Okoye, a lecturer in the Department of Theatre Arts and Film Studies and Goddy Mbakwe Precious a 3rd year student in the department of History and International Studies.

"The incident, which has gained significant attention on social media, is being taken very seriously by the university authorities.
"In line with our core values of discipline, self-reliance, and excellence, and in adherence to the principles of fair hearing, equity, and justice, the Acting Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Joseph I. Ikechebelu, has ordered a full-scale, transparent, and unbiased investigation into the matter.

According to Njelita, "We urge all concerned parties and members of the public to remain calm as we diligently pursue the truth.
"The university is committed to upholding discipline and decorum, and we will ensure that appropriate actions and sanctions are taken based on the outcome of the investigation."

He said that the Nnamdi Azikiwe University remains an institution of learning that upholds high moral and ethical standards.
"There is no place for indiscipline, misconduct, or any form of unacceptable behaviour within our community.
"Further updates will be provided as necessary," Njelita added.

In a video circulating on social media, the student was seen dancing at the entrance of a campus building while being filmed. As the lecturer, Michael, attempted to pass by, he tapped her on the shoulder to make way for himself.

The video showed that while Michael continued into the building, the student turned with a frown and said, “Imagine! Why would he touch me like that?”

However, the situation escalated into a physical confrontation when Michael overheard the student insulting him and returned to confront her.

Upon returning, he noticed she was recording a video. Not wanting to be captured, he reached for the student’s phone, but she aggressively grabbed his clothes. During the struggle, she bit him multiple times and tore his clothes.

In a statement circulating on social media, Michael narrated what happened: “I had just left Hall 19 where Dr Ebekue was teaching.
“Walking along the passage, I saw a girl doing a video with her phone (she had placed the phone on the window hood and was striking poses in the middle of the walkway). tapping her slightly, I asked her to excuse me as I walked past.
“After about 2 or 3 steps, I heard her say, "who does this man think he is?" I walked back to ascertain first if she was my student and second to make sure she deletes the video showing where I passed.
“I then demanded and reached for her phone only to be bitten by the girl on both arms in quick succession. I then held on to her left hand so she wouldn't get away.
“That was when she really lost it; she tore my clothes, slapped and scratched my face and generally went berserk on me all which I received with calm to my own admiration if I do say so myself."
the lecturer has the right to seize her phone so no point of struggling with it with him

she will never graduate from that school, such act should be condemned in totality. If you have such mindset of reacting violently to issues because you feel you are justified, you will suffer in life, my advice for you.

From this your argument you mean if I'm with a lady and she holds my shirt because we are having disagreement i should ho ahed and beat her blue black because she held my shirt and holding someone's short is an assault, if you don't agree with this reverse situation then something is fundamentally wrong with your prefrontal cortex capacity to critically asset itself. Men whose wives usually hold them, they should go ahead and unleash mayhem unto the women because they were assaulted isn't? You aren't smart after all.

The only reason you are cool with this is because the victim is a man, reverse the scenario, let a female lecturer do same thing to a male student and the male student replicate her actions on her will you say same thing? If your submission will be different then you have a problem.
You try ooh, you dey reply person wey dey on colos ... this is how US and Euro laws was made to favour only woman in a bid to please them but now who are the one crying man

.you are the person that is not smart here , there no where in the modern world that a lecturer will try this nonsense and go scot free except in Nigeria. You don't seize a lady's phone in the public when you're not a law enforcement agent anywhere in UK or US. Since when did making skits become a criminal offence. Please change this mindset. It is too corroded and retrogressive
See the nonsense you just talked in public. So you are making your skits and I appear in it, I don't have the rights to ensure you delete the part I appear in it?

Where and when did boundaries disappear in this world. Where your rights ended is where mine began. You people are always quick to tell us about abroad. We're not them, we're not aspiring to be them. We have our own way of life. If not for inferiority complex, you should hold proud your values and norms and not always ascribe to values of the place you probably won't visit until you die

This was before, she can get her transcript and leave the country or go to another school. I am warning you guys, my fellow men beware of girls. The issue would not have gone anywhere if it was boy , a cult guy even. They would have settled like Men . For ladies please run and ask questions later.
who go give her transcript?
Re: Disciplinary Actions Unizik Student Might Face, After School Orders Probe by Jerchance: 7:54am On Feb 13, 2025

Either the girl lacked proper upbringing, came from a home without a responsible father, or had a personal grudge against the lecturer. But none of that justifies battery—it is what it is. This should serve as a harsh lesson for everyone: if you have an issue with a girl, involve law enforcement instead of taking matters into your own hands.

The lecturer made a grave mistake by coming for the phone with her. Instead, he should have exercised restraint and escalated the matter to the school security and senate, where she could have faced more severe disciplinary consequences. Now, regardless of who was right or wrong, she holds the upper hand.

Even cult guys would not have reacted this way
Kindly explain what understand by the word "battery" and how the lecturer carried that out. There were times, traditions and institutions before us: It is a stupid idealogy and life philosophy, to copy every nonsense we see or hear outside Africa. Charity always begins at home

My brother the lecturer has the right to do that for capturing the lecturer face, she has bridge the privacy of the lecturer. She should have done her filming in a house or a private place. Don't you know that the rubbish she was doing can tarnish the lecturer image when the vedio get into social media

The lecturer committed battery under the Nigerian law which is a very criminal offence while the girl over reacted in self defense

Lecturers will now see themselves as normal human beings and not gods who have the control over the destiny of their students.

There are very legal ways of doing this without someone putting himself into unnecessary trouble

If this girl isn't expelled.. then it means one thing , u can't expect this school to seek redress fairly and that lecturers are also fair in oppressing their desires on students inclusive of sex/money for pass....causing a resurgence of alliances and cult groups . The girl should be applying to a private uni by now

You're right, but you know that the legal ways of doing things in this country doesn't work, the judiciary system of this country has failed many, that is why the trust is no longer there.

You wrote absolute rubbish, but I see a lot of people have already come after you and tried to correct the nonsense you wrote.

But just for the sake of our culture and humanity, this is AFRICA and not the USA nor Europe, if an elder tries to correct you, the least you can do is resist the correction politely instead of assaulting him.

We all saw the video and there was only one clear aggressor, which was the little girl who even had the temerity to LIE that the man was assaulting her in public and grabbing her breast.

All the people their were her fellow students and none of them supported her, which should show to people who don't have common sense that the man was not inappropriately touching her in anyway.

If it was UK or US, she would be cautioned as she has no right to film on the school premises while also filming others without there consent. If it was the UK she'd be arrested and cooling of in jail for GBH (grevious bodily harm).

In Africa where we are this man did nothing wrong, in fact the only thing he did not do right (as for me an African man) was give her one good defensive slap to reset her brain.

The girl is mannerless and disgrace to wherever she comes from and if you ask me her mother (who they are saying is a lecturer) deserves to be seriously sanctioned for bringing up this kind of rubbish adult.

There is nothing wrong with Gen Z, there main problem is the failed parents they have that are refusing to bring them up with proper African values and telling them they can get away with whatever they like as long as they make a scene.

Please do not repeat the nonsense that the man commited battery, you are helping no one and encouraging nonsense.

Why not remove emotions, check the meaning of battery under Nigerias law. A much experienced lecturer would have handled this same issue differently and have the girl very well disciplined . Let's see how the case plays out . A lot of Nigerians are too emotional and not objective.
