From Esan North East to Akoko Edo, Oredo, and Owan West, testimonies from party agents and independent monitors consistently indicate that INEC enforced strict adherence to its electoral guidelines. Afuda Theophilus Idemudia, who monitored the election in Esan North East, confirmed that despite the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) agent signing the election results, the discovery of over-voting led to their outright cancellation. This immediate nullification of compromised results prevented any party from unfairly benefiting from electoral discrepancies.https://thenationonlineng.net/edo-election-why-no-party-benefitted-from-over-voting/

As usual if APC wins - they have pocketed the Judiciary! But if PDP wins then that's the voice of the people! But if LP Olumide Akpata wins....water don turn to wine like that o! |
| Re: Edo Election: Why No Party Benefited From Overvoting by omoredia: 10:19am On Feb 13, 2025 |
Stupid talk. If there it's over voting then it is not a credible election and any winner is not credible |

Inec under Yakubu is nothing but a sham. It is very clear to even the blind and the deaf that Peter Obi won 2023 presidential election, Asue Ighodalo won Edo guber election, yet inec declared their own candidates. How on earth can inec convince Nigerians again to come out and vote? Sham!!!!!! |

omoredia:Didn't you read where they said inec cancelled areas affected by overvoting? |

| Re: Edo Election: Why No Party Benefited From Overvoting by Chinjo2: 10:24am On Feb 13, 2025 |
What Asue is asking is simple, cancel all piling units results where over voting took place and declare the rightful winner |
| Re: Edo Election: Why No Party Benefited From Overvoting by okeyfx(m): 10:26am On Feb 13, 2025 |
Okpebholo1:See why your politics is archaic , how do you compare a reasonable stranger to a known clown? I will vote Ambode as a governor in Anambra instead of Chris Uba. |

Technicalities!! Cancelled but still reflecting on the overall result with separate result sheet. Infact..that there is over voting in many polling units already discredit the election. Okpebholo1:INEC uploaded over 98 percent of polling UNIt result sheets on IREV. the remaining 2% was not available because materials did not get there on time and election was inconclusive. If they were not added like you are claiming, we will have alot less then 98%. Anyway I won't argue with you because your name shows where your loyalty lies. |

| Re: Edo Election: Why No Party Benefited From Overvoting by Chinjo2: 10:31am On Feb 13, 2025 |
An election where Asue and other PDP agents were not allowed into the collation centre? And you said no party benefited from over voting? |
| Re: Edo Election: Why No Party Benefited From Overvoting by Empresa: 10:32am On Feb 13, 2025 |
APC will find a way to rig it. |

| Re: Edo Election: Why No Party Benefited From Overvoting by omoredia: 10:39am On Feb 13, 2025 |
Okpebholo1:That's not the work of inec. Thats not a credible election. Inec have indicted themselves. There is a different between invalidation of votes and cancelling of votes. |
| Re: Edo Election: Why No Party Benefited From Overvoting by Tooreda: 10:43am On Feb 13, 2025 |
See argument. There is overvoting and no one is behind bars yet. This shithole is heading nowhere |
| Re: Edo Election: Why No Party Benefited From Overvoting by Okpebholo1(op): 10:47am On Feb 13, 2025 |
omoredia:Oga, the electoral act says where there is overvoting, inec must cancel. So whose work is it? Not all overvoting are through rigging, some are honest mistakes |
| Re: Edo Election: Why No Party Benefited From Overvoting by Okpebholo1(op): 10:48am On Feb 13, 2025 |
okeyfx:Okpebholo is more reasonable than Asue. Okpebholo has touched the lives of Edolites, Asue hasn't done shit |
| Re: Edo Election: Why No Party Benefited From Overvoting by Okpebholo1(op): 10:49am On Feb 13, 2025 |
Tooreda:Oga, overvoting could also be a function of bvas malfunction, system errors, miscalculations and not deliberate rigging |
| Re: Edo Election: Why No Party Benefited From Overvoting by Okpebholo1(op): 10:49am On Feb 13, 2025 |
ElevationD:This is an interesting objective report. The case is over |
| Re: Edo Election: Why No Party Benefited From Overvoting by Okpebholo1(op): 10:50am On Feb 13, 2025 |
Chinjo2:Inec already cancelled it since. Asue failed to establish new overvoting |
