Please anyone who’s familiar with this new study visa application should please assist me, i’m trying to help someone apply, and it’s a bit confusing.

How will i know if i’ve booked the visa? must all the forms be submitted before i know i’ve booked the visa?

You’ll have to fill all the forms and submit the basic documents to join the waiting list to submit an application for visa. So submitting your documents and applying is just the first stage. According to them there are lots of applications so there’s a waiting list and as such they will notify you of when to submit your application by email. It’s after submitting your application, the embassy will check if your documents are complete and will proceed to give you an appointment date for biometrics or ask you to submit further documents.
I applied last month and I’m still on the waiting list so this is all I can say for now.

Hello @Hannania, I got admission to OTH Amberg Weiden but they don't defer, so they asked me to reapply for the winter semester for a new admission and I am also waiting for Bremen for admission too. OTH admission for winter is opening May 1st and Bremen is saying till ending of April for their decision. Bremen admission is 50/50 but OTH is guaranteed. So what will you advise me to write for the reason for my rescheduling?
(With the pace of the German embassy my AD will fall in the 1st or 2nd week of April and i won't have admission then that's why i am asking this question to draft my response down make i prepare down).

Yeah, my guess is that they'll use your documents to assign you to Category A.

Hi so I’ve been seeing a lot of university applications and I just wanted to ask if preparatory colleges can also be part. I have an admission letter to Unihannover preparatory colleges and from there I can get an admission in the school. Would this also count or I still need to get admission from a school?

I don't know what course you're applying to at Deggendorf but its not really fast,until you take the entrance exam

My friend went for her interview in January, her block account was not confirm at that time. So he went with the payslip of the transaction. He showed Mr. Paulinus and he was cleared. However, the visa officer, refuse to interview him, because the block account was not ready. He pleaded that he will send it as soon as it is confirmed but didn’t work. The following day he got the block account confirmation and he send it to them.
Now, they´re asking him to re-apply.
Is he going to wait for two years again?

He re-booked an appointment by applying on the portal and then sent an email together with the new reference number and the old reference number. In the email, he explained the situation, and attached the block amount confirmation. Two days later, He was issued a new appointment date with the new reference he had booked.

NEVER go to the embassy with an incomplete document.

I applied sept 23, 2023. I also confirmed my appointment in 2024 before the 30days stated in the mail they sent.

Do I need to do anything at all in the new application portal before I would be considered for AD.

Someone here mentioned Reg number, I can’t see any reg number in the confirmation letter sent to me when I confirmed mine in 2024.

Someone should please make me understand better🙏🏽

@Hannania Good Afternoon,Please my School is asking for a prove to show that the Embassy Appointment time is faster for Scholarship holders before they can be able to offer me a Tuition Scholarship.
The old link where it was categorized into A and B is no more there where i would have just sent them a Screenshot of the Information on the portal. Please any help,remedy or suggestions on what i can do? Thank you.

Just attach the response you got from OTH stating they don't defer then ask for a rescheduling to match the expected date of winter admission decision. Be very precise and concise.

The stuff is surprising ooo I booked on 19th April 2023 as well and I didn’t get appointment date. Someone who booked 20th didn’t get as well. But one person said she booked on the 23rd and got. Like I was shocked
