This is a very interesting seizure. First off there are evidently NO rifles or pistols. These are ALL 12-gauge shotguns, mostly of the semi-automatic variant. Amazingly I see numerous single-barrel shotguns that are typically only ever used by hunters. I have never in my life seen such an enormous quantity of 12-gauge shotgun cartridges in one place. My guess is that the single-barrel shotguns were intended for sale to hunters nationwide in Nigeria at steep prices, while the semi-auto shotguns were to have been distributed to separatist militias or kidnap cartels. |

Is the same thing as saying sw added more weapons to their existing cache. Na only igbo dey behind in light and heavy toys. Do you think they will send all of it, to one govt agency in the north, that will do further investigations. Is the north, not where 80% of agencies located. Do you think the sw will send all of it? kpata kpata they split it 50/50. |

We are always told that the customs intercepted container load of weapons but they have never bothered themselves to investigate where these weapons cache are going to. No intelligence no arrests nothing. |

Sometimes, our security operatives are too eager to show results without being thorough with their investigations. What stops customs from collaborating with DSS to know where the weapons are heading to, so culprits are rooted out from stem? All involved are arrested, including the terrorist organisations it’s going to. |

viodemus:If you are to be right. The small quantity of weapons you have you have successfully used them to kill hundreds of your brothers. Only gods knows if the SE will still exist if allowed more. That is if you were to be right which you are not. Those weapons were brought in by IPOB to build the ESN. Kanu was bragging about building an army about the time these weapons were seized. Terrorists in the north don't use the seaport to ship in weapons... The only tribe dumb enough to bring weapons through the seaport are the, you already know |

They dare not destroy those ammunition o cos everything about Nigeria is burn burn and destroy destroy.....It can be licensed and issue to Customs, Police, Civil defence etc......such light arms are very good for the paramilitary. I don't even mind if they can issue me about two double barrel so that I can feel my breathe..... 😂 |
