I have this particular Tenant who occupied one of my properties in Kaduna. This man has not been seen for over 7 years now. His phone number doesn't connect. He has not renewed his rent for 7 years. He is the type of tenant that doesn't associate with people. He hardly receive guests when he was around. No family or friends to contact. I have waited for years with no news about his whereabouts. How do I recover my house from him? Where can I lodge such complains. Is it with Police or Court? 6 Likes 2 Shares

Leaving your apartment vacant because someone used to live there 7 years ago is MADNESS. If you don't have a spare key, get a carpenter/welder TODAY. Break that door down. PAWN the properties inside to recoup some of the opportunity costs of leaving the apartment vacant for YEARS. DISCARD the unpawnables! RENT your apartment to a new tenant. PP123:STOP this NONSENSE! This is the 21st Century. Cameras ABOUND! Nothing stops him from recording the ENTIRE process from the beginning to the end. And a BILLION NAIRA is not something you can just hide under your pillows. Also, a few of the other tenants or neighbours could act as WITNESSES. Someone has disappeared for almost a decade and his properties have been occupying my apartment for that the same period of time without the rent being renewed, still you have the guts to tell me not to do away with his properties so that I can rent it out to someone else? Na WA for some of una oh.. As for you op, I've experienced a similar case in my former area.......The landlord parked the tenant's properties into another smaller room and rented the house out to another person and hell wasn't let lose .......The funniest part is that up till now the werey tenant hasn't returned making it over 16 years of his sudden disappearance.. 34 Likes 2 Shares |
