Why is it always difficult to unmask the importers of these arms and ammunition in Nigeria?

So pump action is now what gives government sleepless night. Mtchiew!

But bandits are carrying Aks and RPGs. Misplaced.
They know that some folks in government are dumb and wants photo oops to sound intelligent.

We are always told that the customs intercepted container load of weapons but they have never bothered themselves to investigate where these weapons cache are going to. No intelligence no arrests nothing.
Did you even attempt to read the OP before writing this?

Hunters gun
Yes, this is correct. Those single-barrel break-barrel shotguns are made for hunting. They take so long to unload and reload manually that even hunters prefer at least a double-barrel gun if they can afford one. It is so odd to see someone importing so many of those museum-piece guns into Nigeria where the wildlife is already overhunted

The semi-automatic shotguns with a 12-round capacity are another animal altogether. Those rapid-fire shotguns are devastating weapons at ranges less than 40 yards especially when targets dart about, duck, bob, and weave. One direct hit of all 40 pellets in a typical shotgun shell, and it is game over.

If a thief points a gun that looks like that in your direction, do not share this theory with him. Just hand over your valuables respectfully.

This is really commendable, This is the area our governments and security agents should concentrate more, cutting off arms from getting to the hands of criminals will go a long way in reducing criminalities in our dear country.

If they don't show us when they are being destroyed, they will get back into the importers warehouses.

I am not talking about this particular report. Just making a general observation about the trend of siezed weapons coming into the country whose importers are usually unknown and not investigated.

If you are to be right.
The small quantity of weapons you have you have successfully used them to kill hundreds of your brothers.
Only gods knows if the SE will still exist if allowed more.
That is if you were to be right which you are not.
Those weapons were brought in by IPOB to build the ESN. Kanu was bragging about building an army about the time these weapons were seized.
Terrorists in the north don't use the seaport to ship in weapons... The only tribe dumb enough to bring weapons through the seaport are the, you already know
Bigoted ediots of yarigba extraction!

This particular importer has been traced and convicted in a court.
The country of exportation [Turkey] has been identified.
The company that manufactured and exported the weapons to Nigeria has been identified.
Oga, learn to give kudos to our security agencies if they do a good job.
The security agencies are not saints but when they conduct a proper investigation to its logical conclusion to protect me and you from harm we MUST praise them for a job well done.
This seizure was made in 2018 and finally concluded in 2025. It took the authorities 8 years to arrest/ convict the perpetrators of this crime and bring the investigation to fruition. Let us learn to give praise when it is due.

She's a mother to successful sons and daughters, including doctors, engineers and accountants, and with numerous grandchildren some of whom are already undergraduates.
She's not a hungry, menstruating goat like you with an uncertain future in a country being run down by a cluesless dru.glord.
