I feel like people now are running away from tech. Because you will spend alot of time learning and getting a job is another journey of it's own. It's hard to curve in this though economic hardship. |

I am just glad i learnt when i did. I am now a senior. Regardless, I would still advise that if you have the opportunity to learn, you should do it and take it extremely serious. |

Well yeah, the tech job market now is so saturated, hence the competition is very high. Leading to lower chances of getting the job |

Way too many software developers than jobs. So bad that you can send over 3000 applications and will struggle to get up to 3 invites. Just doesn't make any sense. How long will one do that? People were just joining tech without any tech jobs being created in the last 5 years. If you are already a professional. Just stick to your field o. Tech has casted in Naija as we speak. |

Karleb:Have said this numerous times already, except you passionate about IT or really dedicated to it, you hardly would go far. A lot who claim tech gurus are doing TRAINings (Tutorial Training) and selling SCRIPTs (including modified ones they sell like it's their work e.g School Management System). Look well, mayBe na PHP and basic 1 or 2 languages e go learn, without having analytical reasoning, come dey see plenty grammar as e go search for work, e come talk say work no dey. Who knows, mayBe even the PHP sef, na frameWork e still learn, and not the actual language |
