Osun State Governor Shares Free Condom To Residents As Valentine Gift! by sunky97(op): 12:15pm On Feb 14, 2025
As Valentine’s Day approaches, love is in the air—but so is the message of responsibility! The Osun State Government has issued a crucial advisory, urging residents to prioritize safe sex and avoid unprotected intercourse during the celebrations.

In a bold move to promote public health, the Executive Secretary of the Osun State Agency for the Control of HIV/AIDS (O-SACA), Olusegun Daramola, announced that the government will distribute free condoms and lubricants at key locations, including malls and lounges across the state.

Why This Matters
Valentine’s Day is a time for romance, but it’s also an opportunity to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS prevention. Daramola emphasized that HIV/AIDS remains a significant public health challenge, and the best way to protect oneself is through safe sexual practices and regular testing.

“It’s essential to avoid risky behaviors, such as unprotected sexual intercourse. We encourage those who haven’t already done so to get tested and know their status,” he advised.

Osun State’s Commitment to Ending HIV/AIDS
Governor Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke’s administration is taking proactive steps to curb the spread of HIV in the state. With a goal to end AIDS by 2030, the government is ensuring that residents have access to essential resources that promote safer intimacy.

Where to Get Free Condoms & Lubricants
For those celebrating love this Valentine’s Day, O-SACA has made protection easily accessible. You can pick up free condoms and lubricants at selected malls and lounges across the state. Simply approach the designated vendors and take advantage of this initiative!

Let’s Share Love, Not STIs!
This Valentine’s Day, Osun State is reminding everyone that true love means protecting each other. Whether you’re in a long-term relationship or a new one, prioritizing your health is the ultimate act of love.

🔹 Get tested.
🔹 Stay informed.
🔹 Use protection.

Let’s make this Valentine’s Day about love, safety, and responsibility! 💕
