Nigerian billionaire businessman Femi Otedola opened his doors to fellow mogul and philanthropist Tony Elumelu in Dubai on Thursday night, setting social media abuzz with their high-profile meeting.

In 2023, Otedola made headlines after revealing details of his disagreement with Elumelu over the control of Transnational Corporation of Nigeria (Transcorp).

At 62, Otedola has built his status as a major player in Nigeria’s corporate world, with interests in energy, banking, and philanthropy.

Similarly, 61-year-old Elumelu, who chairs United Bank for Africa (UBA), remains a driving force in Africa’s finance and investment scene.
