This was exactly same issue I and my colleague were discussing in the office earlier today because of a similar issue that happened in the estate where he lives.
After a careful checks on reported incidents like this, it was found that 99% of these wicked acts are perpetrated by Igbo women. Why?

house maids without defined work conditions and payment, should be banned in the Igbo nation. Guardian is different than housemaid.

Either way, the culprit is supposed to be investigated and arrested, if guilty. Nigeria have taught some Igbo people, crime and wickedness.

If guilty with proof, and she has money, it should be used to treat the girl and put down for her well being. The dad if present, should also be arrested. He cannot say he did not see his daughter's condition, and he didn't intervene.

I wish the young girl well.

Am not against discipline, which should not be a crime, but wickedness like this, should be a crime.
