Faith equals righteousness with God

‘Abraham “believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.”’ Galatians 3:6

Some might think of Abraham as having a halo around his head. Hardly. Not once, but twice he throws his wife under the bus. As they travelled through Egypt, Abram says to Sarai, ‘You’re a beautiful woman; I’m afraid the Egyptians will want to kill me so someone can have you for a wife, so let’s tell them you’re my sister’ (see Genesis 12:11-13). Pharaoh does take Sarai into his harem and gives Abram, her ‘brother’, a bunch of sheep, cattle, donkeys, servants, and camels. Rather than feeling guilty and coming clean, Abram simply says, ‘Thank you very much.’

And if you think that’s bad, when Abraham and Sarah (previously known as Sarai—see Genesis 17:15) are in the Negev later on, recorded in Genesis 20, he does the whole ‘she’s my sister’ routine a second time. Why doesn’t God just give up on him? Because Abraham doesn’t give up on God! Abraham eventually reached the place in his walk with God where his biography reads: ‘Who, contrary to hope, in hope believed, so that he became the father of many nations, according to what was spoken, “So shall your descendants be.” And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb. He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform’ (Romans 4:18-21 NKJV). Note the words ‘strengthened in faith’. God’s plan is not to discard you, but to develop your faith and use you to bring glory to His name.

Rom.4.20 Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God,...

How did Abraham not waver, it is because he asked God for help, he asked God to help him believe.

This is what is recorded in Genesis 15, when God appeared to Abram to bless him, Abram instead asked what use are the blessings when he has no child, and then God's answer was that he should count the stars if he can number them. Frankly speaking Abram believed in God and laughed at what He said, like he did in Gen 17:17 but Abram believed in God even though he doubted what he heard.


And Abram asked God for proof? Faith is evidence, can you have faith without it?

Gen.15.8 But Abram replied, "O Sovereign LORD, how can I be sure that you will give it to me?"

Abram was strengthen by the proof God showed him, God showed him the future. Abram didn't just hear God, God also made him see the future.

When we do not believe let's be like that man who came to Jesus for his son who was thrown into fire and at times into water, when he cried out to Jesus, help my unbelief.

Look God's word doesn't need our believe for it to come through, we need our believe to receive them and when we can't believe let us ask God who is speaking to us for help. Even Peter did when he waivered at the storm and fell.

The word righteousness comes from "right doing "

And what is right in God's sight might be difficult for human to process or comprehend...and that's where faith comes in

Righteousness comes by obedience. The obedience of Abraham to the call of God to forsake his tribe, family in Iran or tehran and move to an undecided location of promise and the obedience to sacrifice his son as soon as God ordered - these two acts of absolute obedience is what God counted for righteousness for Abraham. People don't understand that faith is obedience - faith is not verbal confessions or mere acknowledgement of the concept of God. Merely acknowledging Gods word, existence or praising him without obeying him, worshipping, tithing, singing and doing sacrifices for God doesn't count for righteousness. Bible says obedience is better than sacrifice. Preaching, praying, signing, tithe payment are all sacrifices and must not be replaced by unquestioned obedience to the command of God that that we must be holy - for he is holy

It is because of Abraham's weaknesses which include telling half truth about his wife being a biological sister, impregnating his house girl,vetc, that God later reintroduced himself to Abraham and cautioned him with the follow words, "walk before me and be thou perfect"

Being obedient and always striving towards righteousness is a key factor that God looks out in those he justifies. He doesn't justify those who relax, continue to sin, and argue around that no man is perfect. After all, bible says, job and Zechariah and Elizabeth were perfect, upright, walking in all the commandments of God blameless. Memorize the commandments of God and do your best to be blameless in all if you want God's justification like he did for John, Zechariah, etc despite them being humans tio

If God has not given up on you, don't give up on God! Jesus said "only believe, ........." . Stand strong in faith!

Righteousness is not hard. You have the bible so it should not be hard for you to know the specific things bible calls sin in the new testament if you read them with open mind. You can copy those things out and try to be blameless in each

Zechariah was called upright and perfect man , job was called perfect man who walked in all the commandments of God blameless. There are specific verses in the bible that names what GOD considers sin. So copy those things out and try to be blameless in those area first. There is no faith without obedience. There's no record Peter ever went to Rome.
Go and read the whole of revelation, the fallen church described as the mother of harlots aptly describes the Catholic Church.

I did not hate supreme God , I love him so much and I can never deny him in my life . He is the supreme and he did not depend on anyone to exist ; and he created everybody .

it is obedience that is not easy without faith. Once you obey, righteousness follows. But to obey difficult instructions like what God gave Abraham is humanly impossible. Also, in our generation, many cannot obey difficult instructions to flee premarital and extra marital sex, desist from lying, stealing, deceiving or blackmailing their neighbours. But with faith one can commit to doing these things God commands. Righteousness is the end result of obedience to God's instructions. Or let me say, our obedience expresses our faith towards God - it's the proof that we have faith

Why do you want to derail the beautiful message? The message is not about church but about faith and righteous with God.
Before God,it is your Righteousness that count not the kind of church you go.
