‘Abraham “believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.”’ Galatians 3:6

Some might think of Abraham as having a halo around his head. Hardly. Not once, but twice he throws his wife under the bus. As they travelled through Egypt, Abram says to Sarai, ‘You’re a beautiful woman; I’m afraid the Egyptians will want to kill me so someone can have you for a wife, so let’s tell them you’re my sister’ (see Genesis 12:11-13). Pharaoh does take Sarai into his harem and gives Abram, her ‘brother’, a bunch of sheep, cattle, donkeys, servants, and camels. Rather than feeling guilty and coming clean, Abram simply says, ‘Thank you very much.’

And if you think that’s bad, when Abraham and Sarah (previously known as Sarai—see Genesis 17:15) are in the Negev later on, recorded in Genesis 20, he does the whole ‘she’s my sister’ routine a second time. Why doesn’t God just give up on him? Because Abraham doesn’t give up on God! Abraham eventually reached the place in his walk with God where his biography reads: ‘Who, contrary to hope, in hope believed, so that he became the father of many nations, according to what was spoken, “So shall your descendants be.” And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb. He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform’ (Romans 4:18-21 NKJV). Note the words ‘strengthened in faith’. God’s plan is not to discard you, but to develop your faith and use you to bring glory to His name.

Do not downplay holiness. Jesus came to call all to repentance and holiness. God had always wanted us to be holy. Be ye holy for I the Lord your God am holy. Upon mount Zion there shall be deliverance and holiness.. the Holy Spirit had not been given in the Old Testament so there was no empowerment to live a holy life. It is the Holy Spirit that gives us power to be holy. As many as are led by the Spirit of God they are the sons (and daughters) of God. As many as believe on Him (Jesus) to them He gave power (the Holy Spirit) to become the sons of God. Ye shall receive power after the Holy Spirit is come upon you.. one may in the beginning falter but God expects spiritual growth and not a perpetual life of spiritual infancy. Anyone who truly loves God and has faith in God would hate sin. How can the Holy Spirit dwell in you if you live a life of sin? The Holy Spirit will certainly depart from a life of constant sin and iniquity.. that is why Paul said I do not frustrate the grace of God upon my life. Jesus said if you love me, keep my commandments. "Holiness unto the Lord"

I mean when the fathers of old died, they couldn't get to heaven until Christ died and resurrected and opened the gates for them through his shed blood.

After Jesus has finished the works on the cross, any other person that is not washed by the blood of Jesus, is not going to any heaven.

No spot or wrinkle will enter there, and all have sinned and fall short of God's glory, but Jesus has done it for us

I got your point very well .

At bolded , before Jesus came , many people have come before him and they did not know him and your claimed spilled blood can not reach them . So that mean , they were not saved because no blood were shedded for them .


I am now asking you , since those people did not meet your Jesus with the shedded blood , who will now safe them ? Does that mean they are going to hell fire ?

those that came before Jesus believed that only God can provide the way back to Him and God did fulfilling the promise He spoke from the beginning that the seed of the woman will crush the head of the serpent.

God sent His lamb that the righteous may be restored to life that they lost through the devil, but this time they receive eternal life. A promise that covers all who obey God and do what is right in His eyes.

These instructions doesn't make sense by human understanding. Righteousness isn't easy without faith

true, it takes faith for one to be right before God and do what is right even when it is difficult.

But

Ps.51.11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.

God's spirit has been holy from the beginning but the Holy spirit didn't dwell in men but came upon them under the old testament

But we can't compare a gift that has been paid for and dwells in us, with one that can be taken away at any time due to sin

God dwells above the heavens and Jesus is the way to Him. Those who have done well sleep in Shalom, some call it paradise some call it heaven, all waiting for the fulfillment of all of God's promises when even the heaven and the earth will pass away and a new world will come.

I don't know what your confidence is, that you know I will never answer but if you already believe such a lie how can you accept the truth that I have actually answered you?
