Faith should work holiness in any Spirit filled christian except he does not have the infilling of the Holy Spirit. You can not successfully argue that merely believing God without abstaining from sin translates to holiness

No one can say he believes in God yet he does not flee from sin.

Thus, belief in God means fleeing from sin (which is even far better than abstaining from sin)0

You are in error. Jesus isn't another way .. He is The Only Way. Read Ephesians 4:8 and also read in the book of revelation what goes on in heaven. Those who died before Christ's first advent still had to accept Jesus when he descended to the underworld, spoiled principalities and powers then ascended into heaven. Righteous Souls (with the exception of Enoch and Elijah and maybe also Moses) were In a part of the underworld called Abraham's bosom (beggar Lazarus' story). Only through Jesus did they gain access into God's presence. This was shown to all of creation when the bible records that when Jesus exited his body on the cross, the deceased righteous were seen in town in Israel
