The bolded is not true, my Haier-Termocool 2.5kva gen run 2hrs on 1tre of Fuel on light load and 1h.30min with my Deep Freezer and others on. I bought 4 litres yesterday and it lasted the usual 6hrs because the Deep Freezerand the giant ORL Standing fan were on, i was running 3hrs plus on 1litre of fuel with Tiger gen back in 2009.

You need to periodically replace your carburator. This will immediately increase your run hours per liter.

Also you need to periodically clean your carburator. There is a spray for this

Then your spark plugs

And your oil.

There are multiple variables that affect generator run time - to the point where you can only do an accurate test with a brand new generator

This is one thing I’ve never engaged in while in school cause what’s the end gain if I’m caught, 4-5 years will just go into the thin air like that

Update on Expelled UNIZIK student

Linda Ikeji just posted a new video of the UNIZIK student and Lecturer which appears to show the lecturer grabbing the bodice of the student's dress with the student struggling valiantly to free herself.

The person who shared the video also claims UNIZIK is calling her parents and asking her to do a video apology and they'll take her back.

Some people get mind, same ‘I can’t be caught’ mindset every thief has

This is one thing I’ve never engaged in while in school cause what’s the end gain if I’m caught, 4-5 years will just go into the thin air like that

Some students have strong mind o. Some of my coursemates devised a means of cheating when we got to 300level and we were doing majorly departmental courses and just maybe one or two non departmental course . They knew that was the time to build ur CGPA and recover what u must have lost in 100 and 200 levels due to so many borrowed courses .

I don’t know exactly who came up with the idea but a handful of them who had very strong mind used this cheating format from 300l 1st semester to 400l second semester without copping any carryover or getting caught .

They would get this fancy biro with paper calender inner , write possible exam answers on the calender inner part of the biro and draw it back in making the biro look like a normal biro to unsuspecting invigilators.(see attached for an example of such biros).

For some courses they may need as much as 10 of those biros to accompany them into the exam hall cos some examiners will just ask u a small case study question and u will be required to explain that particular concept , its qualities/characteristics , advantages and disadvantages, instances where it is applicable , exceptions to its rules etc .U know such will require u to write as much as 2 and half pages as answer for u to get 15 or 20 marks .

During an exam in 400l an external invigilator nearly caught one of our course mates who pulled out the inner calendar and was steadily writing answers he had previously written there on to his answer booklet. The lecturer saw him from afar and asked him to stand up like that thinking he had caught him writing answers from an expo on him. By the time the lecturer got to him , he searched his pocket, surroundings and found nothing . Unknown to the lecturer the student had released the pull on the biro back inside and dropped the biro on the floor before the lecturer got to the student. The lecturer wan craze when he didn’t see any expo on the guy. At some point he was doubting his sanity cos he was damn sure he saw him writing from a paper . When the lecturer was exhausted , he asked the guy to sit and continue his work and even told him to sha pick up his biro that fell . 😂. The man never knew the biro itself was the expo. That was the closest shave those guys were to being caught .

After our final paper when we went to celebrate and drink at a lounge , I heard them doing vote of thanks and one weyrey said he dedicate his B.Sc to the manufacturers of that biro 😂😂😂😂. Craze people dey this world abeg!

so i just watched the video

there are multiple problems with his test

first is a complaint i have about most chinko/chinesium products

we dont know how long the generator is actually supposed to run on a litre of fuel

a proper generator will come with a manual thats says runtime per litre

but most products sold in nigeria are gray market and made specifically for the third world so this information is not available.

also, as NNPC has pointed out - they are getting their fuel from dangote as well

so you cannot tell if it is not the same fuel used in both cases - unless you test it in a lab.

in addition

he did not perform the tests in a scientific manner

he used the same type of bottle with no marking
he used the same generator with no marking
he did not show a video of the complete test run

ie ideally he should have had stickers on each bottle. stickers on each gen.
a timed video from pouring the fuel to running each generator.
if he was actually going for unimpeachable evidence

unless he actually has a full length video that was cut for the purpose of uploading

this video really says nothing.

I watched the video already and one can infer that the lecturer apparently held to her cloth to prevent her from bolting away after assaulting him.

This video does not in anyway absolve the lady of her unruly behavior and she deserves the expulsion over and over again .

The so called lady that shared the video must have think the panel that investigated the matter was dumb and wouldn’t have seen this same video before arriving at the decision of expelling her . Definitely the panel will comprise of both academic and non academic members of the university governing body who will be mostly parents themselves . The fact that they unanimously believe her parents failed to train her the right way to act around an academic like her mother is testament that she deserves what she got.

Let this Good Samaritan take her abroad where she can be slapping and bitting her lecturers without any recourse to the school rules na.

Exactly , nobody is saying she didn’t do that shiit, not her parents , not her friends , not her course mates , not her church members , not her bf or ex bf ; except for few Nigerians online who have bias against Nigerian lecturers . And members of university disciplinary panels are no more incompetent or biased than your average group of Nigerian's in positions of authority. It also doesn't help that the girl in question overreacted, and the court of public opinion expected and demanded she be expelled...slam dunk situation for the school authorities.

However, I do think the girl's situation presented an opportunity for the school to show some tact in the handling of issues (maybe a year's suspension + counselling)...something that isn't them throwing the baby out with the bathwater. The girl's crime was having a rude mouth, and being involved with a scuffle with a lecturer...I don't think her life should get derailed in this manner because of that.

I don't agree with u one bit. All I saw is a student who slapped and bit her lecturer in response to "alleged" touch by the lecturer. Such students have no place in the university system and deserves to be expelled and not suspended.

People like that lady are ticking time bomb waiting to blow. Maybe u have forgotten about the case of Maryam Sanda who stabbed her husband to death in Abuja following an argument. Please read up on the case and see how Maryam sanda displayed this lady's kinda anger all through the night even in the presence of the husband's friend before she eventually stabbed him to death after the husband's friend left.

Someone decides to constitute a nuisance of herself and everyone is supposed to carefully walk around her.

The only thing I can fault the lecturer for is demanding the phone - but I can understand why he did that. Because in this day and age a video with him in it could have been uploaded with a silly story attached to it.

I also thought there was history between them other than what we saw in the video. I was livid finding out that the man wasn't sleeping with her and she acted that way. Omo!

The girl had the misfortune of her assault video going viral. If there was no video the whole thing may have ended in a suspension.

But everyone has seen that video and there is a need to make an example of her.

In this age of phones you cannot lose guard. Which is why the lecturer demanded the video in the first place.

The other day I was in a supermarket and the salesgirls were being saucy and one man got very angry.
