The other day I was in a supermarket and the salesgirls were being saucy and one man got very angry.

He said because so many of us (as men) are not respecting ourselves and disturbing these small girls, they think they can be rude to any man because all men want to knack them.
I agree with him

Instead of her fans to be more concerned about how someone that young is running mad over something little, dem dey pass blame up and down.

Life is more brutal than a shove. I wonder how she would handle it, with that much anger.
The kind anger she's walking around with will turn to big societal problem in the future

An interesting hustle for Naija teachers

From Chukwudi Iwuchukwu

I just learnt today that Nigerians living abroad hire lesson teachers from Nigeria to coach their kids going to school in the new environment where they just migrated.

One of the reasons driving this market of hiring a lesson teacher from Nigeria to teach a child living in the UK is because it is cheaper and more affordable to do so because of the exchange rate.

300k, for instance, is less than $200, so a lesson teacher living in Ogbunike, my village, and earning 300k for teaching just one child in the US, Igbo, biology, and chemistry is earning good and eating good too.

With that $200 budget, you can’t get a good private home tutor in the US.

And there exist many Nigerian lesson teachers with clients living abroad and their job description is simple

Wake up, prepare your lesson notes, log into zoom, coach your students, log out, sleep and the cycle continues the next day.

Some of these lessons teachers have 3-4 students living abroad that they coach every month.

A lucrative hustle it is.

Interesting times we live in.

so i just watched the video

there are multiple problems with his test

first is a complaint i have about most chinko/chinesium products

we dont know how long the generator is actually supposed to run on a litre of fuel

a proper generator will come with a manual thats says runtime per litre

but most products sold in nigeria are gray market and made specifically for the third world so this information is not available.

also, as NNPC has pointed out - they are getting their fuel from dangote as well

so you cannot tell if it is not the same fuel used in both cases - unless you test it in a lab.

in addition

he did not perform the tests in a scientific manner

he used the same type of bottle with no marking
he used the same generator with no marking
he did not show a video of the complete test run

ie ideally he should have had stickers on each bottle. stickers on each gen.
a timed video from pouring the fuel to running each generator.
if he was actually going for unimpeachable evidence

unless he actually has a full length video that was cut for the purpose of uploading

this video really says nothing.

you can make a video like this
this is trust me bro, i no fit lie to you.
Also should have swapped both generators for a second test just to validate

Some students have strong mind o. Some of my coursemates devised a means of cheating when we got to 300level and we were doing majorly departmental courses and just maybe one or two non departmental course . They knew that was the time to build ur CGPA and recover what u must have lost in 100 and 200 levels due to so many borrowed courses .

I don’t know exactly who came up with the idea but a handful of them who had very strong mind used this cheating format from 300l 1st semester to 400l second semester without copping any carryover or getting caught .

They would get this fancy biro with paper calender inner , write possible exam answers on the calender inner part of the biro and draw it back in making the biro look like a normal biro to unsuspecting invigilators.(see attached for an example of such biros).

For some courses they may need as much as 10 of those biros to accompany them into the exam hall cos some examiners will just ask u a small case study question and u will be required to explain that particular concept , its qualities/characteristics , advantages and disadvantages, instances where it is applicable , exceptions to its rules etc .U know such will require u to write as much as 2 and half pages as answer for u to get 15 or 20 marks .

During an exam in 400l an external invigilator nearly caught one of our course mates who pulled out the inner calendar and was steadily writing answers he had previously written there on to his answer booklet. The lecturer saw him from afar and asked him to stand up like that thinking he had caught him writing answers from an expo on him. By the time the lecturer got to him , he searched his pocket, surroundings and found nothing . Unknown to the lecturer the student had released the pull on the biro back inside and dropped the biro on the floor before the lecturer got to the student. The lecturer wan craze when he didn’t see any expo on the guy. At some point he was doubting his sanity cos he was damn sure he saw him writing from a paper . When the lecturer was exhausted , he asked the guy to sit and continue his work and even told him to sha pick up his biro that fell . 😂. The man never knew the biro itself was the expo. That was the closest shave those guys were to being caught .

After our final paper when we went to celebrate and drink at a lounge , I heard them doing vote of thanks and one weyrey said he dedicate his B.Sc to the manufacturers of that biro 😂😂😂😂. Craze people dey this world abeg!
Boys will always find a way to cheat the system grin grin

A babe I know when writing the final papers wore a sandal that covers her whole leg and inside that sandal is enough exhibit and on her lap but she wore jean that day 😂she complained of heat underneath that day after that paper grin grin person wey Dey study peace and conflicts ooo

I've noticed a string of arguments between Conservative yorubas and Muslim yorubas.

The real issue points to the leadership of the Islam in Nigeria.
And the main question is this, why is the leader of Islam in Nigeria mostly reserved for the sultan?

Why doesn't that post rotate to the south?
I hear the position of deputy can be rotated but not the leader position.

Why?

Now u see there's always a danger of people allowing the narrative control what one's view of a situation.
