I am a silent reader and I felt I should share my experience as other people's posts helped me put together what I think was a good application, I hope it helps someone

Visa application submitted - Jan 30th

Passport returned - Feb 7th

Picked up - Feb 10th

Visa applied for - 10 days, single entry

Visa Approved - 3 months Multiple entry

List of documents submitted:-
• The completed Schengen Visa Application Form
• My Original passport
• Proof of Travel History- Valid UK visa
• My reserved travel return ticket- 10 days
• Schengen Visa Travel Health Insurance-10 days AXA Mansard
• Hotel reservation receipts – Pairs- 10 days
• Letter of Introduction from both companies as well as companies’ documentation and account statements- I am a business owner and I have two registered companies so I submitted all my documents ( CAC , Annual returns, account statement )
• My Personal 3 Months Payslip from my company
• Dependence supporting documents –Letter of introduction from my aged mother and teenage daughter
• My Personal Bank Statements from the last three months - (Naira and dollar account statements)
• Residential Address Utility Bill
• Pension statement and cover letter - 3 months
• Proof of Property owned Document
• Company ID Card
• Personal Tax Card
. Pictures of my family
. Daughters’ birth certificate
. Daughters travel history
. Proof of child in school - admission letter, school fees payment, etc

Alright, nice to know you have these extensive travel history.
Now, let me add.
Please ensure you submit all your evidences of relationship with your wife. I understand you know these documents, one of it is Marriage certificate, Marriage pictures, family pictures. You must prove to the officers handling your applications that you are a couple.
In addition, your previous visas and most recent, please attach it to your application on your submission date. You are not a first timer tho, you are a frequent traveler based on your travel history.
All the same. Please attach all evidences and state in your personal letters all these places you have been. Also, attach your datapage and visa copies , sufficient evidence to your wife's application, if she is a first time traveler with no history.

The reason I said this , please read again, is because, we have seen severally that family group visas can be rejected but they approve that of the main applicant who happens to be a frequent traveler. In most cases, it is usually the father or husband.

So please, don't play with this update, show them plenty evidence that you will return together if your trip is for vacation, if possible, do an affidavit of return through a lawyer.

This application is a walk over from my stats.

Good Evening, i want to apply for a france visa although i just got a UK 6 months visa and now i want to apply for a france visa but i have some concerns. I applied for portugal ending last year and got denied “conditions of travel unreliable “and now i want to go through france and my husband will be my sponsor ( he is based in portugal)

I want to know if the france visa official will find it weird that my husband in portugal is sponsoring me to go to france for tourism, will they not think “why not go to portugal”

I intend on going to the UK then from UK to france. I just want to know if its a good idea for him to sponsor me.

I intend traveling to Paris next month and from Paris to Doha and from Doha back to Lagos..

Lagos to Paris
Paris to Doha
Doha to Lagos

Paris...staying for 2 weeks and Doha....staying for a week

Will there be any issue with these arrangements of multiple cities or i should just to Paris and return to Lagos and travel back to Doha from Lagos

Goodmorning

First, your application with France is not same as Portugal.

While you are applying to France , do not state that you have anything to do with Portugal in the past. Now that you have a UK visa, it can give you an edge.

I would advise you apply for the France tourist visa solely for vacation without Stating you will go from there to Portugal or from the UK.. Do not complicate your application considering your previous rejection.

Somethings are better left unsaid.

Don't attach any links to your husband in your application, do not send them a signal you will not return.
Ensure your monies is in your account sufficient to cover your trip. Do not state that your husband is in Portugal. I don't know what you stated before in the former application, but be consistent with your data provided.

I'd be best to explain in clear terms if opposite is the case with a cover letter .

Please read carefully these informations.


Begin by filling out the forms to register as a tourist, then book your appointment at the TLS for submission of your application.

There is no issue. You can travel just like you planned. Just make sure you have a valid ticket for all trip before you leave Nigeria, if not. They won’t let you fly!

I just wanna say thank you to everyone on this platform for all the info we got from here... It assisted us with putting together my niece's visit visa application to Norway and she was approved!

She submitted her application at VFS Abuja on Jan 24 and got back her passport on Feb 11 with a visa for the exact number of days she requested

I have serious question and I would appreciate y'all responses. Just to give you some background details, I'm applying for Visa for my brother to come for my wedding in France. In the application form, I inputed the details of my Mother-inlaw as the inviting person and myself as the sponsor, since I don't reside in France (I live and work in Belgium), but my Fiancéé is French and the wedding would hold at the city where her parents lives.

I have now received the attestation d'accueil which I intend to send to my brother, but the name in the doc is the step-father of my Fiancéé and not the name of my Fiancée's mum. Given that my Fiancé's mum and step-dad aren't married but in PACS (Pacte Civil de Solidarité), it might be contradicting to the visa issuing officer when he/she sees different names on the visa application form and the attestation d'accueil.

I would have started a fresh application on the French Visa site, but I have already booked and paid for appointment at TLS with visa doc file number.

Please guys, tell me what I can do. I will be on the look out for your feedbacks.

This application sounds complicated with so many people involved. You could have just invited and sponsor him all together but since you are done with the application, let’s hope for the best.

I travelled from Belgium to France using Flexi bus and it took me just 3.5hrs. Well next time. This is the best arrangement but then again Belgium is very strict with visa. They asked my wife for extra docs when we applied.

Hi,

I did this last year so I'm speaking from experience. You will apply through the French consulate.

Fill the France visa application form here- https://france-visas.gouv.fr/en/online-application . For "main destination of stay", select Netherlands (it's the last option so you have to scroll). The arrival address should also be in the Netherlands.

Additionally, I booked an appointment and submitted through TLS. My cover letter was addressed to the Consulate of France but in it, I mentioned my intent to visit the Netherlands. My visa sticker was issued by France but under remarks, "R/NL" was written to indicate Netherlands.

Hello everyone . I am applying for my 4th Schengen visa . As at when I filled my form last year I only wrote France as my only destination for tourism . But right now I am considering another state to attend an event and I have supporting docs - registration, ticket and hotel - all paid .
My question now is this , should I fill another visa application form , I am thinking my number will be different from what's on my appointment slip and my appointment is end of the month . Or should I just leave it as it was and be silent about this other visit . Kindly respond .
