Happy Sunday everyone, I just wanna say thank you to everyone on this platform for all the info we got from here... It assisted us with putting together my niece's visit visa application to Norway and she was approved! She submitted her application at VFS Abuja on Jan 24 and got back her passport on Feb 11 with a visa for the exact number of days she requested All glory to God! Thank you all |

Good Evening, i want to apply for a france visa although i just got a UK 6 months visa and now i want to apply for a france visa but i have some concerns. I applied for portugal ending last year and got denied “conditions of travel unreliable “and now i want to go through france and my husband will be my sponsor ( he is based in portugal) I want to know if the france visa official will find it weird that my husband in portugal is sponsoring me to go to france for tourism, will they not think “why not go to portugal” I intend on going to the UK then from UK to france. I just want to know if its a good idea for him to sponsor me. hunee: |

Ifunanya25:Dear Ifunaya, Goodmorning First, your application with France is not same as Portugal. While you are applying to France , do not state that you have anything to do with Portugal in the past. Now that you have a UK visa, it can give you an edge. I would advise you apply for the France tourist visa solely for vacation without Stating you will go from there to Portugal or from the UK.. Do not complicate your application considering your previous rejection. Somethings are better left unsaid. Don't attach any links to your husband in your application, do not send them a signal you will not return. Ensure your monies is in your account sufficient to cover your trip. Do not state that your husband is in Portugal. I don't know what you stated before in the former application, but be consistent with your data provided. I'd be best to explain in clear terms if opposite is the case with a cover letter . Please read carefully these informations. Begin by filling out the forms to register as a tourist, then book your appointment at the TLS for submission of your application. All the best. |

There is no issue. You can travel just like you planned. Just make sure you have a valid ticket for all trip before you leave Nigeria, if not. They won’t let you fly! gateleo: |

Dear Hunee, Good Morning, Thank you for your response, I really appreciate it. In my Portugal Tourist Visa application last year i didn't state that i have a family member in Portugal although i ticked that i was married in the form and i also bore the cost of the trip (my salary account had like 400k while my savings account had like 11m although some unexplainable inflows was made into the account and i didn't explain them in a cover letter). I provided all documents required, i submitted my work ID, Introduction letter from my office ( i work in a bank), leave approval, Tax Clerance certificate etc. I noticed that my hotel booking from bookongs.com was cancelled a day after my biometrics so i don't know if that was what ruined my application as my passport and rejection letter was given to me exactly a week after my application. Right now i don't have enough funds in my account hence my husband wanting to sponsor the trip but i also understand it is not a good look for him to sponsor me in the application form, i want to know if my husband can send me the funds to my account and i explain the inflow in my cover letter or must he sponsor me with his statement of account? (he rarely keeps money in his Nigerian account so he will have to provide his Portugal statement which might complicate things) You also said i shouldn't state that i had anything to do with Portugal in the past but my biometrics was taken during the Portugal application, will the France visa officials not see that on my profile? If i also want to prove strong ties to Nigeria should i include my marriage certificate, pictures with my husband etc.? hunee: |

I have been trying for days now to book appointment via TLS but it seems impossible. It won’t even bring out the form to fill in my details. Please is anybody else experiencing this or am I doing something wrong? |

Simply use a logistics company. It's weird asking strangers to carry food items for you. Obiany: |

Hello House, I have serious question and I would appreciate y'all responses. Just to give you some background details, I'm applying for Visa for my brother to come for my wedding in France. In the application form, I inputed the details of my Mother-inlaw as the inviting person and myself as the sponsor, since I don't reside in France (I live and work in Belgium), but my Fiancéé is French and the wedding would hold at the city where her parents lives. I have now received the attestation d'accueil which I intend to send to my brother, but the name in the doc is the step-father of my Fiancéé and not the name of my Fiancée's mum. Given that my Fiancé's mum and step-dad aren't married but in PACS (Pacte Civil de Solidarité), it might be contradicting to the visa issuing officer when he/she sees different names on the visa application form and the attestation d'accueil. I would have started a fresh application on the French Visa site, but I have already booked and paid for appointment at TLS with visa doc file number. Please guys, tell me what I can do. I will be on the look out for your feedbacks. |

This application sounds complicated with so many people involved. You could have just invited and sponsor him all together but since you are done with the application, let’s hope for the best. Zuar: |

Desmondola2020:Yeah, I would have invited him if the wedding was in Belgium. But it is in France, but I don't live in France, hence the reason for accommodation provision in France. |

I travelled from Belgium to France using Flexi bus and it took me just 3.5hrs. Well next time. This is the best arrangement but then again Belgium is very strict with visa. They asked my wife for extra docs when we applied. [ quote author=Zuar post=134220098] Yeah, I would have invited him if the wedding was in Belgium. But it is in France, but I don't live in France, hence the reason for accommodation provision in France.[/quote] |

gateleo:The best option Is Lagos to Doha. Then from Doha, go to Paris. From Paris, stopover back in Doha enroute to Lagos. This is with Qatar Airways Alternative, using Air France Lagos to Paris Paris to Doha Doha back to Paris for stopover Then Paris to Lagos |

gateleo:Your flight itinerary works as long as your Qatar visa is valid. It also means you are flying with different airlines which might be more expensive but it works |

Zuar:Yea sounds messy. The simpler the better. Better your mother in law gets the attestation d'accueil in her name and then let her be the sponsor. |

gateleo:The multi city is a good one. It's called 2 holidays in one. ![]() Issue ke? No issue at all. People do it all the time. Use Qatar Airways to make it cheaper. You can decide to have your Qatar holiday either on your outbound or inbound trip. You could book the 1-day discover Qatar ahead (its cheaper through Hayya), join them directy at the airport and after the drive around, jejely drop at somewhere close to your hotel. It'll reduce your supposed Airport to Town transport cost ![]() ...and you'd have explored popular places; albeit for a short time, but it'll give you a good idea of the city layout, which will be useful for your subsequent wakabout. My personal experience indicated uber was cheaper than regular cabs. I wouldn't know if that is still the situation though. Did you apply for your Qatar visa on Hayya or at their embassy? |

Congratulations on your visa🙏🏽 I am in the process of also going for my appointment and I’m trying to book a flight reservation without payment. Please which one did you use? I saw people saying KLM but I don’t see the option to pay at office for their Nigeria website. yoyome20: |
