The Minister for Agriculture and Food Security as well as those appointees that speak for the President in one capacity or the other are a bunch of clowns.
Instead of waiting for at least 3 - 4 months to observe the direction of inflation in prices of foodstuffs (those in the know say the current drop in prices of some essential food commodities - no matter how little the drop - is largely due to harvest season not because of any special policy of the FG in that regards), they started blowing their own trumpets all over as if it’s now Uhuru.
Now, even Daily Trust that that didn’t know the meaning of “fact-check” under PMB Admin is now the one exposing their barefaced lies and propaganda with hard facts.

I've not seen a very idiotic set of people.

You bring policies that inflate the price of food, food prices then begin to fall marginally but not even near the prices when the APC took over power and they start clapping for themselves!

Can someone explain how this guys calculate food inflation. How can food inflation be 39% when it's actually over 300%.

How is it calculated exactly

It's obvious that when one joins APC, the first thing they do to you is to program lies into your brain
Politicians are naturally not truthful. It has nothing to do with the parties they belong to. cool

Price of rice and bean has significantly come down but others are stil very expensive.

His policy is poverty induce mechanism, and there is no other ways anyone can twist the story.

Bwala's political model is tell lies upon lies all in the name of propaganda. One greedy hater of Nigerian people. Unfortunately, he's working for another greedy capitalist politician.

can you give the previous prices and the new prices?

is Tinubu responsible for the reduction you are referring to?

who is responsible for the price increase in the first place?
Yeah. I have been buying rice at 7k per paint bucket but on Friday, it was 6,200. For beans the prices for the same bucket used to be 7k upward depending on the types and qualities. But on Friday, it was from 6k upward too. I bought it .

Oga you said it's coming down. But i'm telling you that until it comes down to the initial price before Bulabaa came into office, it is still on the high side.

Tinubu said "ewo fo ko ba le" during campaign. What happened to that promise?
Re: FACTCHECK: Are Tinubu’s Policies Reducing Food Inflation As Daniel Bwala Claimed by hkidola00(m): 1:25pm On Feb 17, 2025
is fertilizer better than cow poop manure
Typing:
During this period every year, prices of foodstuffs is usually lower. The reason is because, most farmers just finished harvesting their farm produce. They have also flood the markets with varieties of farm produce.

This always force the prices down drastically. However, in lass than two months from now, the prices will go high.

I am a farmer and I have full knowledge of this and how it works. Tinubu's bad policies can never force the price of farm produce down.

Do you know how much farmers bought fertilizer last year? Do you know how much farmers bought seedlings, herbicide chemicals for weeds and other farm implements? The same farmers spend huge money on buying fuel at over 1k per litter. To transport themselves to farm daily

With all the above, challenges farmers go through under this administration, how do you think price of food stuffs will come down? From the middle of this year. Prices of food stuffs will be higher than it were at the same period last year.
