Firstly, the military strength of the European countries in NATO has never been a deciding factor, US has always been the kingpin.
Secondly, US already has forces stationed in and around Taiwan.
Thirdly, Putin was never going to come to the table if he wasn't going to be allowed to keep some Ukrainian land or if Ukraine were allowed to join NATO, those were definitely red lines for Putin, so no, he has not negotiated away any solid factors

I don't support everything trump has said and done so far, especially all the talk of relocating Gazans against their wish and the Canada/Greenland saga but on the Russia/Ukraine war, I support him fully. Biden and the Europeans obviously want the war to continue, trump wants it ended, as do I. Anything to get that done is welcome

The issue is that if Trump forces a peace between Russia and Ukraine at the expense of Ukraine. Within five years, there would be war in Europe.

The reason is because Ukraine as a sovereign nation did not commit any offence against Russia.
At the time of Invasion, there was no active movement by Ukraine to join NATO.

Putin just hated Zelensky and he thought that the comedian will flee at the first shot of the Rifle.

Ukraine is now a strong military in Europe after Poland. Their drone technology has matured significantly during this war.

What is Trump demanding from Russia for ending this war. No one knows but for now it is NOTHING!

If Russia will gain from this war, China will do their own and it would be the war of USA: Europe will stay neutral!

This is probably the most foolish comment I've seen on this thread. Firstly, Russia is decades ahead of any European country in nuclear armaments and technology, so much so that Ukraine could easily be vaporized in a day if they ever tried to bring nuclear arms into play.
Secondly, any attempt to activate nuclear weapons will be immediately rejected by all countries, that's why everyone signed the pact never to use nuclear weapons in any conflict. A violation of that pact will see the defaulting country being ganged up on, and it's not like nuclear scientists are just lining up to sign up for sure death by working on arming nuclear warheads for battle use...make una try dey reason before una make some kind comments

You're funny. Why does US not attack South Africa, they don't have nukes. Why does France not attack Burkina Faso, I could go on and on. You cannot just attack a sovereign state just cause you don't like them. Also, what evidence do you have that Russia's nukes were built in Ukraine by Ukrainians?
