call your friends

some of them have teachers they are using already

you can also list courses you want your children to be taught in and we can refer teachers to you

you would have to interview them and get a feel for their competence

I've noticed a string of arguments between Conservative yorubas and Muslim yorubas.

The real issue points to the leadership of the Islam in Nigeria.
And the main question is this, why is the leader of Islam in Nigeria mostly reserved for the sultan?

Why doesn't that post rotate to the south?
I hear the position of deputy can be rotated but not the leader position.

Why?
That's one of the abnormalities that was handed down by the military governments in the past headed majorly by Northerners.

I'll hit you up when that time comes

We actually have a Primary and Secondary school in PH but not sure if those teachers can handle UK Curriculum

what i am seeing is money for hand , back for ground influencers

i also suspect this video may be an old video from fuel scarcity. it is not dated.

I don't it's directly as a result of the video. The MRS at Bar Beach, Victoria Island is always witnessing this type of queue on a daily basis even long before they started selling Dangote's PMS. Up till now they still experience the queue such that they block the road for other road users.

The thing is MRS pump seem to be close to accurate compare to other filling stations ; that's why most people always prefer to buy from them even long before Dangote started selling to them. I think it's mostly MRS and Mobil that have their pumps not too tampred with.

An interesting hustle for Naija teachers

From Chukwudi Iwuchukwu

I just learnt today that Nigerians living abroad hire lesson teachers from Nigeria to coach their kids going to school in the new environment where they just migrated.

One of the reasons driving this market of hiring a lesson teacher from Nigeria to teach a child living in the UK is because it is cheaper and more affordable to do so because of the exchange rate.

300k, for instance, is less than $200, so a lesson teacher living in Ogbunike, my village, and earning 300k for teaching just one child in the US, Igbo, biology, and chemistry is earning good and eating good too.

With that $200 budget, you can’t get a good private home tutor in the US.

And there exist many Nigerian lesson teachers with clients living abroad and their job description is simple

Wake up, prepare your lesson notes, log into zoom, coach your students, log out, sleep and the cycle continues the next day.

Some of these lessons teachers have 3-4 students living abroad that they coach every month.

A lucrative hustle it is.

Interesting times we live in.
I already thought about this too, when I understood the economics behind it, I wasnt perplexed again.

Lucrative hustle indeed, I know because its what I do although I have only one student currently.

I can do it. I'm very adept at using the UK curriculum.
In fact, it's easier than the Nigerian curriculum. I can show you proof if you would want me to.

Nigerian Lecturers na course and you have to find a way to pass it😂

I always tell my friends that once u study a lecturer, u are 50% sure of passing his or her course. The rest is now based on how intelligent and how industrious u are in studying for the course itself.

I apply this same thing to Job interviews. Once I get an interview invite via mail and I have an idea of the people copied in the mail who might be on the interview panel, I always look them up on LinkedIn to see what piques their interests, what is their area of specialization and what can u say at the interview that can make them be on ur side during the interview session. This usually works for me, in fact it worked for my first job after NYSC cos I had already figured out the MD's interest going through his LInkedIn page. When I was done with the interview, I knew I had gotten the job cos I saw how impressed he was on his face. I knew the whole "We will get back to you" was just formality cos he has already chosen me with his countenance which I gauged well.

It's just politics and nothing more. Muslims from different parts of the country have been fasting for years before 1974 when NSCIA was established.

At least my own father was years before Independence in 1960 and from his young age he's been observing the Muslim Ramadan fast. They didn't defer to the Hausas or any Sultan of Sokoto to announce moon sighting before they start or conclude Ramadan. It was after NSCIA was established under the northern dominated military government they made Sultan of Sokoto life President and Sheu of Borno Life Deputy President.

What I don't understand is why the horde of Southern Muslims didn't contest this North-biased arrangement till recently .

It is just recently northerners are trying to establish dominance. Likely because as I have said they have fled to the south in large numbers and lack the sense to leave well alone.

CRM is one invention I don't see improving in naija even the next 5 years
1. We have trust issues and I don't blame them once you input your details calls and emails will be coming steady
2. Our privacy can be breached, I read about people buying nin information for as low as 100 naira
3. We are too lazy, banks and insurance companies use CRM to open account but we still have people on the streets trying to convince you or customers going to banks to open account

Even though ERP is growing CRM is lagging behind

“Furthermore, the participation of the Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Christopher Musa, would have added mental strength to our troops.
So Ribadu told Canada to go to hell because the Chief of defence staff wanted to join body with Military athletes going for the Invictus Game in Canada and they denied him visa. Na wa o.

Our top men/leaders no get any iota of shame at all. Imagine the nonsense reason they gave for his inclusion into the delegation sef; dem say his presence will add mental strength to our troops like say na war dem wan go fight there. Why can't he go and give the real troops fighting Lakurawa and Boko Haram in Northwest and Northeast respectively that mental strength?

I even thought he was reschedule for a very important official assignment involving other country's top military chiefs and was denied visa ni. So he was denied visa for trying to go waste naija money on estacode for a sporting event and Nuhu Ribadu the NSA dey convulse like say na matter of national emergency. Shior! angry
