OSUN STATE INDIGENES DISOWN TINUBU OVER NEGLECT OF PATERNAL HOMETOWN

In a surprising move, the indigenous people of Osun State have rejected President Bola Tinubu's claim to being an indigene of the state. This decision comes after Tinubu's consistent neglect of his paternal hometown, Iragbiji, in Osun State.

For many years, Tinubu has spent Christmas and New Year holidays in Lagos, amidst the state's indigenous people, rather than in his own hometown. This blatant disregard for his roots has sparked outrage among Osun State elders and indigenes.

"We have repeatedly asked President Tinubu to come and develop Iragbiji, his paternal hometown, but he has consistently ignored our pleas," said Community leader, an Osun State elder. "Instead, he chooses to spend time with Lagos State indigenes. This is unacceptable."

The Osun State indigenes have also accused Tinubu of prioritizing Lagos State's interests over those of his own state, Osun. They cite the lack of development projects and infrastructure in Iragbiji and surrounding areas as evidence of his neglect.

In light of these developments, the Osun State indigenes have collectively decided to disown Tinubu, stating that he can no longer claim to be an indigene of the state.

"We will no longer recognize President Tinubu as one of our own," declared Community leader." His actions have made it clear that he does not value his roots or the welfare of his people."
