Nafdac said they’re not done with investigations as it’s likely more stores are also guilty of fake drugs..

So you expect Nafdac to leave the market so they can quickly ship out those fake drugs to another location?
There is a better approach, you don’t set your house on fire cos want to kill a rat

Peter Obi was a bullet Nigerians dodged. The country would have been flooded with fake drugs with innocent citizens sent to their early graves if he were the president
Brainlèss Yolubar man, because they found drugs in a particular shop, the whole market will be shot down. Tomorrow, na still una Yolubar go carry sit at home for head, as if it affects y'all

The truth is that we politicize everything in this country. These markets accounts to 80% drug distribution in Nigeria. peter said categorically that if they found u wanting, that you will answer your crime, now he emphasized that there are other people selling tools and plumbing materials around the said ogbo ogwu that was shutdown, thereby pleading for the reopening and also reopening of those operating legitimately. But now, those that couldn't react when Fulani elites were defending the herdsmen killing people that they should allow them to graze freely, has pounded on Obi their soft target. It is well.
you keep talking about Fulani herdsmen but never for once mentioned ipob terrorist killing your people on dairy basic

Obi guffed well, reopening HQ of fake drugs market is a no no till investigation is complimented. Just your kids are in America where there are no fake drugs doesn't mean others lives doesn't matter
Re: Fake Drugs: Sanwo-Olu's Aide, Wale Ajetunmobi Criticises Peter Obi's Stance by aviazuva: 8:49am On Feb 18, 2025
Is it only drugs that are sold in the market?
Are all the drug marketers selling fake drugs??
Official cannot be diligent in investigation, but must hurry to take action, and in so doing they make mistakes.
However, aviazuva.

You said they are done but they have started prosecuting same reason EFCC fails daily in court. You are not done with investigation but rush to arrest and shut down the entire market. Some of us lack good thinking faculty

Same reason Buhari shut down the boarder because people were smuggling fuel but forgot other people equally use the boarder fornlegitimate business until every goods price went up now we can't control inflation. What is wrong with Nigerians??

Its only in the East that an event affecting drug section of a market can lead to the closure of an entire market including those selling vegetables, fruits, rice and beans etc. Obi didn't ask for drug section to be reopened, he said that since its fake drugs NAFDAC is dealing with, why close every section of the market including poor vegetable, meat, rice etc sellers section. Political opponents will always find how to twist the fact

The agency is not supposed to seal the entire market because corrupt NAFDAC OFFICIALS are hungry….you don’t go about closing schools or churches because you found a rat that doesn’t belong there! Crime is everywhere!
It’s a public place,not a private organization!

OBI is right!!!
If your neighbour is into crime, you know and did give him out are you not an accomplice already

A law abiding Market will not condone or creat a haven for criminals. oil n water dont mix

Once the market get the message habitating criminals selling fake will bring trouble to all of them, they will sit up.

Crime is everywhere, police are limited and cant be everywhere, there the people are the best shot to gather intelligence and keep our environment safe.

Hope you supported Buhari when he closed the boarders indefinitely because people smuggle fuel?? What did he achieve when even Dangote could.not export his cement from.same boarder.

All of you are penny wise and pound foolish. Will.you close the entire Oshodi market because people are selling pirated books?

Frame 1 — March 2007: NAFDAC shut down Anambra market over fake drugs. Peter Obi, then Governor, intervened for the market to be reopened.

Frame 2 — Feb 2025: NAFDAC shut down another Anambra market over fake drugs. Same Peter Obi intervened for the market to be reopened.
And he carefully ignored the valid reasons for the plea for reopening, just to score quick political points. Well done Mr Aide to the Governor.

The problem of this social media is a one-sided narrative, and many people are not able to keep up.

Yes, same as smugglers at the Boarders permitting fake goods. Shouldn't we also close the entire boarders? Poor thinkers everywhere laced with Igbophobic mindset

How did you know that others knew about the fake drugs and didn’t report it?

Secondly should an agency as big a NAFDAC depend on gossips for its intel?

The market should be reopened to allow traders sale their goods.

Drug line constitute just 5% of the entirr market.

Same thing is happening in aba they closed entire market. People selling foodstuff can't trade,, people selling clothes can't trade. What concerns this garri seller, clothes and shoe seller with fake drug
