Yes he was probably left out but I think I read somewhere that it's a rule in laliga that referees do not officiate matches for consecutive game weeks.. And there's 20 Referees in the league first division, so it makes sense.

Relevo is a gossip mill and should never be taken seriously. This news is not official. Normally, referees usually get free week off after each match. On rare occasions, special cases where they repeat and that's like 1 in 50.

The referee was given a week off, that's it. Has nothing to do with the sending off of Bellingham. Colson is correct.

Conflict of interest is another news. He'll not be working this week because he must rest not because of Bellingham. The ref that was in charge of your game yesterday won't be at work at the weekend because he must rest.

I know you're a Real Madrid assssz licker but you should know that Real Madrid is very powerful in Spain. They control all the facets of football governance. If they didn't like a particular referee or refereeing decision, they have all the means to shut the the individual down.
