Nope, Nigerians do not. They love illegality, unlawfulness, disorderliness and color it along the lines of "he's an elder", "he's a respectable lecturer [the unizik lady comes to mind]", "it's affecting people's businesses", "billions of dollars has been lost from the govt developmental project", "northern agenda", "muslim-muslim". Nigerians hardly collectively criticize lawlessness and lack of order, but would jump at any opportunity to collectively seek the downfall of a vulnerable person [the unizik lady illegally acted upon comes to mind]. |

You are right sir. They celebrate evil and they go to their different places of their worship to ask whatsoever the believe for peace in the country. They will pray and fast for a peaceful society and they expect God to perform miracles does it happen that way? |

The power to reject wrong doings by politicians lies in ur power to vote and ur vote counts as its supposed to be in a democratic setting. When ur votes don't count and can be manipulated u have no power, u have lost ur power to choose/Remove ur leaders. U are powerless. This is why the corrupt leaders want a dysfunctional electoral system so u are powerless. |

Paraman:what is the relationship with obi and the topic? is obi the only politician in nigeria? you say obi lost an election to tinubu but you are still obsessed with obi. where are people more obsessed with the loser of a contest and not the winner? obi was governor more than 10years ago. is he the only who was a governor? tinubu is president. if you are so obsessed with obis performace as governor, can you educate nairaland how tinubu has improved the lives of nigerians since 2023 till date? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sbTPeiQ51Ec |

An average Nigerian don't reject bad behavior sir, they prefer to embrace the bad rather than good behavior, Nigeria is an abnormal dyfuntional and an absurd society, where stupid things reigns supreme. Only a decent and normal society rejects bad behavior |

jaxxy:Voting alone isn't the issue. There's a subtle thing in society that makes people to act correctly. Take the small example of the large effect of "what people would say". Humans are social and if they are aware there'd be societal wide condemnation, body languages, they'd tread carefully. Instead, politicians have fans. And voting? Voting is even like a push for them to continue. Checking the presidential ballot of 2023, is there anyone actually suitable to be voted for? Absolutely none. All of them have histories of corruption, terrible leadership and whatnot. But guess the actions of Nigerians? They support A against B, support B against C. Support none! And collectively condemn them, accept none and rally for overhaul of the political parties and processes that produce terrible personas on the ballots. |

Even this one that was shouting "Our Darling Daddy" for 8 years finally realized he had been a fuul all that time as I rightly said! APC and Buhari were nothing but failures personified.

yarimo:GEJ cannot claim sainthood now, because if he had been effective and pragmatic,he would have arrested the situation, which Buhari and Others capitalised to deceived Nigerians, with the Northern Politicians, who are always on deception through religion, and Security issues, which they ( Northerners) themselves brought to Nigeria. Besides, GEJ could not seriously checked and kicked out Corruption, where such personality as Dezani was looming large,as Minister of Petroleum then! Don't trust Nigeria Politicians! Kiss the TRUTH! |

Spoiler alert: They won’t change their ways because Nigerians rarely reject bad behavior. If you call out someone's wrongdoing, you'll likely be met with insults, told to mind your business, or asked if you're any better—sometimes even defended by those who excuse the behavior. |

Where is the lie ?Some Nigerians actually voted for a president who told his followers to fight, snatch, grab and run away with power at all cost. |

Wotoporiously speaking Nigeria can never be better, it will keep getting worse I stand by my word anytime anyday There's so much deleting to do in this country if we want to enjoy the fruits of our labour but we are never going to be ready for this conversation, come tomorrow, come next or even in the future. My advice for you is to make money and disappear or belong to high class who can afford life at a high level without having to worry about what poor people worry about. Nigeria is a jungle |
