Spy360:
If Amorim had not joined Man United last Dec, some people would have thought he should be replacing Arteta by the end of the season.

God is a good God 💪
Areta had 1 win in 10 and 4 wins in 14 starts in his first full season as manager. We were 4 points from the drop zone and for a long stretch we languished in 15th/ 16th, in a relegation battle just like Amorim is.

Give it a rest!

Arteta won the FA cup in his first season. Arteta moved his team from 20th to 8th in that same first season. Make Amorim try am.

Selective justice.

When you were suggesting Amorim did you include the part that he would mess up in his first season?

No.

But now he is permitted to fail. While Arteta that is competitive in the title race for three consecutive years isn't. 😂

You are making the debate easy for me.

Amorim has 2 league titles, 3 League Cups and 1 Super Cup. With less than 2 months into the job and with 10 men, he knocked Arteta who is now in his 6th year out of the FA Cup.

If e easy, Arteta can stop being 2nd best choke merchant and win it all just like Amorim.

Since you want to go there, we can go lower.

Na una go dey make am look like say na hate. No be him mate be Slot that is topping the table with 0 transfers while coming from freaking Feyenoord? Since you want to go there... Maresca, a freaking Championship coach did not need 4-5 years to get Chelsea competing for Europe again.

Since you want to go there and make those who think differently look like haters.

Rest!

Arteta can go to Holland and Portugal and win all their trophies and titles there. At least in Holland and Portugal they don't have Man City 😂

Now that Amorim is in PL, what happened to his preek?

Is it Maresca that they gave 1billion for transfers that he even had the luxury to bench 100m worth players and loan out the likes of Felix etc? They he is struggling.

If you want to use examples use Slot. I will respect it. And that is for now, I will give him his flowers even though he inherited a far better team than young inexperienced Arteta.

No manager I know today would have accepted that Arsenal job. It's like having to look after your grandparents who will shit around when you're just 16. That Arsenal job was the hardest then. But an inexperienced Arteta took the pieces and made it look like what it is today inclusive of all the challenges along the line.

I know it is not hate, but stop acting like Arteta is useless

When Amorim spends 6 years, nearly 1 billion in the transfer window and one FA Cup as the only tangible trophy to show, then we can bring up Amorim.

Come on na.. are you seriously comparing a coach who is barely 2 months into the job in the EPL to the 2nd longest serving coach who is now in his 6th year? Tell me you are joking.

It is easy to say Arteta would have won in Portugal but I can argue otherwise and say he would have been fired after his 2nd year. I am glad to see the City excuse has lost taste and no longer valid considering Slots exploits.

No one is questioning Arteta’s growth in the job but at what expense and what level of tangible success? This season, we are already out of the FA Cup, League Cup and possibly the league. Our only realistic chance that we control is the UCL and while not impossible, it is a stretch.

If we end this season without the EPL or UCL, should I celebrate coming 2nd again? After 6 years? Should I continue to be grateful Arteta is the head coach? He isn’t doing the club any favors.

Na wetin dey tire me. When we talk e go be like taboo but here we are, at the verge of another trophyless season under Arteta and I am supposed to be grateful for 2nd?

Rather than focus on winning something like the UCL or EPL, his supporter is busy bantering a coach who is barely 2 months into the job after a wildly successful time in Portugal. I mean!

Is Amorim’s current struggle, 2 months into the job supposed to be a trophy for me? Or even something I should banter about? I don’t get it. What sort of satisfaction am I supposed to get from bantering a coach who has been more successful than Arteta?

This here is the height of it
Alonso went all out unbeaten against Almighty Bayern last season with little budget, this is something arteta haven't done
But we should celebrate he's competing against aparis(pep and slot)

There is even a possibility that Amorim may end the season with a trophy. I think it is high time we up our standard. I honestly don't mind going the way of chelsea football club under the tutelage of Abramovic that any coach that mess up get sacked and high another one. It is the more reason why they are more successful than us in the last decade. It usually pain me being an Arsenal fan that we don't have European cup to show for our existence. What a shame!

With which money exactly? E be like say u don't know the club u are supporting sha, it is Arsenal one of the financial prudent clubs in England.

It also seem u don't know the difference between the management at Arsenal and the management at Chelsea under Abramovic. In fact, when Silent Stan wanted to pay off the balance of the loan used to construct the Emirates in 2020 he had to make the club (Arsenal) take a loan from his sports company to pay the external lenders while the club now owes him till 2031 when the initial loan was due for final repayment.

Is that the club u believe will be sacking coaches every year and paying the coaches severance packages? Abi u don't know all those coaches sacked by Abramovic walked off with huge pay checks?

All I'm saying in essence is that Arsenal is not a club that can afford to be handing heavy checks to sacked coaches every now and then; that is why they are giving the coach every necessary support to succeed.
