Jones4190:| You know whats funny? If this was a negative report, they'd tell you how Bloomberg is a reputable international source for Business and Economic related news, but now that its a positive news, they'd either call it propaganda or ask you some mumu question about hunger ![]() It must be terrible to be them Nigeria will be great again |

EmperorCaesar:Grow up. Eschew tribal sentiments. Don't let ur education be a total waste. Anybody who challenges APC or doesn't agree with whatever policy they come up with, is automatically an Igbo? It's really embarrassing. You're not enlightened at all. Grow up! |

Article by a yoruba journalist with bloomberg. How can you use Dec 2004 as base year for inflation and not expect a favourable outcome. What it means is that if fuel was 1000 in December and its 942 in February. You then say inflation is falling. Nations use 4 years or 10 years back as base year. Nigeria uses 2 months back to calculate base year. If truly inflation is falling then cbn should reduce rates for local and foreign debt. |

Fidelity2050:98% Igbo on Nairaland. Online, ie social media, those insulting and attacking Nigeria are like 95% Igbos. Really tragic. I wonder what they expect to gain from such behaviour. |

Please let's learn to leave ethnic sentiments aside and reason with logic and facts. Weather you support Tinubu or not, it's clear the economy is finally stabalizing. The Niara seems to have found a stable trading range against the dollar. This is mainly due to increassed crude ouput and aso the reduction in refined products to the local refinairies. A stable(ish) Niara in turn leads to stable(ish) inflation as we remain a mainly import based economy. It's been rough but as Tinubu approaches his second year in office, there are finally signs of stablility in the economy. If the govt can now build on this with security in the North and reforms in the power sector, by this time next year we may have an even better story to tell. Let's put hands together to rebuild our great nation. |
