This is the problem with Southern Nigeria, especially SE and SS. If this were in the North, they would have gladly given up their land for this. Many did this in the past for even FG project and later turned around to cry marginalisation. How will the government pay far more money on compensation than on the actual project?

Wahala no dey finish, I thought some people here were saying the issue has been resolved. After the Governor inaugurated a committee to meet with the Communities, they asked the Governor to reduce the land size. The Governor then reduced the size from 1800 hectares to 1350 hectares yet dem no gree, they are even rejecting compensation and asking the Governor to relocate to another place and leave their land. Is there any FG projects that does not cause conflicts in the SE?. I think it is only Ebonyi state that allow common sense when FG brings projects to the state, they no dey fight each other. There's another fight over FG projects in Enugu.
