Abacha needs to be compensated or rewarded with the presidency after IBB as a way of telling him thank you for saving his life in the Gideon Orkar coup. Abacha single-handedly sneaked IBB and his family out of Dodan barracks when the coup plotters came to kill IBB at dodan barracks. Thereafter, Abacha personally went to the radio station to disrupt the on-going announcement by Gideon Orkar and arrested him. I guess IBB is preparing for his exit. That's what happens whenever an old man or woman is about leaving. They'd damn shame and reproach when revealing the truth to the people around them. They'd never leave without saying the truth, if your old papa or mama get one secret wey dem wan tell you, once they begin to see the exiting signs, wherever you are, they'd send for you and say it's very important and urgent. As a young boy, I remember voting MKO that day. It was the most peaceful election ever. Abiola spent nothing, he was fondly loved across all tribes.He won even in places where he didn't campaign. He won across all tribes and regions cos he was a good man. He had made yoruba, hausa and ibo millionaires in that era.

Shebi IBB eventually stepped aside and abacha died. The decision to crown him president lied on Gen. abubakar abdulsalaam. So, why didn't he do the needful? MKO died eventually under fishy circumstances.

Same IBB that executed his former friend and best man Vatsa was unable to take control of his own government? Its very obvious that he and the dark goggled one had an agreement to vacate power and allow Abatcha to have his “turn” emilokan 😀😳 as he was dribbling Nigerians with change in handover dates being shifted Abacha was just watching his every step until the day he tumbled Shonekan and snatched the power….
