Perhaps if one knows it, one can avoid studying them or learning them.

To be fair though, there is really no job that has lost its "respect". The advice for young entrants would be to have a strong math foundation, get into a good school preferably notably a federal university/polytechnic or top-rated private university, get a good grade and be well informed of the career/academic opportunities as they come by. Also, be prepared to change locations, especially at an early stage, if necessary.

Some ignorant people will come to say "Jobs are slavery". A big lie as the world has more employees than employers, and the most successful employers once worked somewhere or places to either raise their capital and/or garner experience within a structured environment.

It seems you don't understand simple English. The post is asking for jobs that have lost dignity or respect. Kidnapping is a money making machine but is it respected?
Kidnapping is not a job or profession, it is a criminal act

Skull mining is it for me.

Somewhere in the SW, human skull is sold for a paltry 15k despite the maximum risks taken by the miner

Teaching, so stressful and emotionally draining, I had to quit mine as a private school teacher 3 years ago to venture into tech, that year I created my first online business which is vtu website, last year I bought my first car and currently building my first house. Tech is the future, though it may seem hard in the beginning but if you didn't give up, you will smile later.
What do you mean by "tech"?
Listening to people like you, this guy quit his job and dived into tech. Hear him lament now:

I don't know why some ignorant people mentioned banking. As a young graduate, if you enter the banking system as a full time staff in a good department like treasury, financial control, corporate audit, internal services, corporate affairs, investors relations, legal, human capital, investment banking, private banking or within the office of the group managing director, you are already on the part of career success. It's left for you to learn as much as possible within those units and continue to develop and deepen your capabilities. The pay is equally sufficient to cater for your needs and if you are good with money and rises through the ranks in your organisation, you should be able to build your house, get a good car and live a decent life, far above the average life in Nigeria. From there, opportunities could be opened for you in other sectors when you must have spent 7 to 10 years in the banking, learning and developing your self.

1. Police: one of the most respected job then where one officer without arm can arrest tens of persons but today people abore the system.

2. Priesthood Then a man of God can deceive a whole village to relinquish their culture but today we see most as scams...

1) Law : I grew up respecting the profession, believing that Lawyers would uphold truth at all cost. I have realised that Lawyers are actually more Corrupt than the average Joe; that they can even Corrupt the law itself. I've seen Lawyers become think tanks of devious strategies; web of lies, wrong policies, initiatives; champions of falsehood. Unfortunately, we expect the Law to be the last hope of mankind. No wonder my mom says Lawyers cannot make it to heaven.

2) Medical personnel(Doctors and Nurses excluded): its only in Nigeria that relatives of patients and even patients on admission in hospital fast and pray. Why? So that God will protect them from evil hospital workers. I used to think that empathy was a basic requirement for anyone who is into the life saving profession.

3) Road safety personnel: I have come to conclude that the basic requirement to join this team is that you must be a thief.

I agree journalism is one, not because we dont have journalists, but many media houses dont want to employ real journalist, they prefer to employ theatre art students whom they call OAPs, on air personalities, these guys know nothing of journalism. They are paid actors who are used to misinform the users.

That's the guy, the guy is not me because our destiny differs. Any body can claim to be into tech but not all knows what tech is all about. As a tech guy who knows what he is doing, you don't need to be looking for remote jobs up and down, create jobs for yourself online. Do you know how much scripts and softwares are sold online, do you know the power you have on your hands as a Web developer, visit codecanyon to get insight of what I am talking about. People own and maintain shops online that generates thousands of dollars monthly, dey play 😂
That guy that quit his job for tech is not informed, if you already have a job, keep tech as a side hustle, get money from both source and live ur life, except you don't have a job, then you focus on your online hustle.

how many law firms pay more than 50k? How many law firms even exist in the country? Law is a useless degree for majority
https://www.nairaland.com/8216916/why-most-nigerian-lawyers-broke

Bank contracts staff are being paid 80-120k while some pay entry level full time staff over 300k
The question was about 'respect' not pay.
I am not a Lawyer, but tagging law a useless degree is shocking. BTW, all top law firms pay comparatively high salary with banks as per levels - ETs and Associates alike.
