Do you know they have gone back to re-list the case?

After Judgement has been passed oooo, if they know that case holds no weight, why are they going back to the Appeal Court for a case they never touched since Dec 2022?

cool cool cool
Oyetola is the one giving them the backup thinking Adeleke will buckle down and allow them have their way thinking since they controll the Police.

I don't know why they are going behind to re-enlist the Appeal, yet driving different narrative to their footsoldiers

Yes, there wouldn't be after Sunday.

You see the problem, you are comparing grapes and apples.

Peter Obi reclaimed his mandate because the Supreme Court held that the election was not supposed to have held since his tenure wasn't over.
In this case, a Court of Appeal judgement have said that the election that produced these LG Chairmen/Councillors was faulty, invalid, illegal and unconstitutional. So can you place something on nothing?
You have misquoted the ruling.

Be specific whose election was faulty, invalid and
unconstitutional?

You are quoting a state high court judgement over a superior appeals court? How does that work?

In short, you will cause chaos in Osun State tomorrow and guess what? Your term will be cut short with State Of Emergency.

Education is never a scam. If you can remove elected local government chairman, then the president has all right to remove you by anyway necessary. If one of these governors is not use as an example, others won’t learn.

State of emergency loading in OSUN……………
You think is easy to declare state of emergency...

See as e dey sweet u to type

Again, it wasn't a State but a Federal High Court.

So you do not know there was an Appeal Court Judgement delivered on 13/1/25 on this same subject matter against the APC?
Dismissing the APC's appeal?

But the LG Chairmen the Appeal Courts just reinstated have not yet served their term?

Gov Adeleke should not turn Osun upside down

The LG Chairmen should go to supreme court to be reinstated if Gov Adeleke tries to hold elections again without letting them serve their 4 year term
Re: Local Government Election holds tomorrow In Osun - Governor Adeleke by alcaptainero: 12:16pm On Feb 21, 2025
You missed the whole point, the issue is that Peter Obi benefitted from a court ruling, whether it's supreme court or appeal court is inconsequential.

The latest ruling dismissed the PDP case. The PDP is only claiming that it was on a technicality - apart from you no one is saying that the latest ruling is in favour of the PDP.

Once a case is dismissed technicality or not the position is that the situation returns to the status quo ante - the state it was before the case was filed. In this case it means the APC councillors get to complete their term.

It doesn't matter if it was a Federal High Court. The
Appeals court has superiority in cases.

Saturday’s election is only an academic exercise and a waste of time and money. Those already in office will remain so till October, 2025. They are the only ones who will get allocation directly from FAAC. If Demola Jackson and Davido wants to fund the clowns they intend to announce as winners tomorrow from their pockets till October, so be it.
If I were you, I won't continue to embarrass myself over this issue

Tell the APC to go to the field tomorrow and test their popularity

The Court of Appeal Peter Obi went to is not the same Court of Appeal we have today.

We didn't have Buhari and Tinubu to bastardize our Judiciary back then.

We didn't have Kekere-Ekun, Kayode Ariwoola and Tanko to turn Nigerian Judiciary into a marketplace for politicians.
When a Governor with spine stands up to the impunity of the Federal Government, that is when you sycophants remember rule of law and justice.

Under PDP, elections in Edo, Ondo, and other states were overturned in favour of the APC by the courts.

Despite the high degree of electoral corruption we witness since APC, elections have been affirmed in favour of the APC by the corrupt APC controlled Judiciary.

Governor Adeleke should go ahead and conduct a decent election for the people of Osun State to replace the rubbish Oyetola did to sabotage his government.

This is a copy of the ballot paper Oyetola used to conduct LG elections during his time.

Ask yourself if this was an election or selection if you have any conscience.
You are right at the emboldened.

I wish you luck, most of the people urging you on are neither indigenes of nor living in Osun state, when the trouble starts, they will not be there to offer any help, appeal court is not the last bus stop,if you're not satisfied with the judgement of appeal court you can proceed to supreme court instead of causing mayhem in Osun state.

That his tenure has not ended.

Was the election that produced Obi declared by any Court to be illegal?

Gov Adeleke should not turn Osun upside down

The LG Chairmen should go to supreme court to be reinstated if Gov Adeleke tries to hold elections again without letting them serve their 4 year term
It is the Tinubu led APC federal government that wants to turn Osun State upside down

That has been their modus operandi; it happened in Rivers State, Edo State, and now Osun State.

What I heard was that a court in Akure declared October 2022 LGA election conducted by Oyetola a valid one.

I have warned my younger brother in Osun who is a PDP’s PA not to go out o.

Because he’s from Ekiti means he doesn’t know the law? You sound really dumb.

My tenure never finish you wan do another election take replace me is undemocratic. If such happens, state of emergency would be declared in Osun to avoid disputes and internal war.
See them. Ask the same ekiti man what haooen during Fayemi era. Fayemi started all this sacking of local Government chairmen and other governors now took after him. Till today, The sacked chairmen won at the court but he never returned them nor pay them there entitlement till he left the post and you all suddenly turned deaf ears now that it's affecting una APC shege.

There are no vacancies across local government councils in Osun state. A fresh election when the tenure of those previously elected haven’t ended is an undemocratic way to resolve an act of impunity and lawlessness committed by the governor.

Peter Obi went to the same Court of Appeal to reclaim his mandate and he was allowed to fully serve his term of office. The elected local government council officials should be allowed to fully serve their term of office which will expire in October, 2025 as directed by the court. There is no need for any urgent election except those to be elected will assume office in October.

Nurudeen Ademola Jackson should stop the impunity and respect the judgement of the court. When you’re in a hole, you fvcking stop digging. Allocations from FAAC will only be released to the council officials whose election have been validated by the court.
APC using court to truncate democracy
