If you can go physically, please do. Sending via courier with your added details to specify will also do. Best you submit it at the gate to get a fast response

You can't use the same SL for the opportunity card and studies visa. That's because you have to specify the reason on the SL. If it's block account, the amount is not the same. It's €13,092 for the opportunity card.

I want to say a very big thank you to you all for sharing one experience or the other it has been so helpful

I am new here and following this platform in preparation for Winter 2026.

So I want to apply for a bachelor's degree for next year's Winter semester, I'm currently running a diploma program that will end around that time

My question is should I book for an appointment now or wait till the middle of the year because of the fast pace of Appointments. I don't want to get an appointment when I am not ready.

Another question is do one get a new passport number when they renew their old passport?

Any advice will be appreciated

Hello everyone, my brother has just been given appointment by the embassy for next month but the problem here is he doesn’t have an admission letter. He applied to four schools but was rejected. please I need advice on what can be done?

1. Can he apply to private university and get admission within a month? If yes, can you suggest some private uni to me?

2. How possible is it to transfer from private university in Germany to public university considering the fact he might struggle in paying the school fees?

3. Can he write the embassy to reschedule the appointment to another date?

I jst received a mail stating my interview appointment is slated for 25th of next month. I'm required to be there with an admission letter but I have not secured an admission yet.
I wasn't admitted to the ones I applied to in the past and I haven't been applying for a while now since I last read on this thread it takes 26 months to get an interview date.
I applied for interview June 2023. So it has only been 20 months, and I was planning to start application this month ahead of then.

Due to this short time frame, I'm planning to reschedule since I am not really sure I could secure an admission before then and I also don't have any idea how to go about it. And pls what excuse do you think is proper in my situation?

I really need this, I'll appreciate any response regarding my situation, Thanks!
