They didn't see empty field to do the learning, they had to come to an open road.. People make nonsense decisions because we live in a country where most people don't account for their actions

people are just so foolish, what happens to learning only on Sundays and looking for less busy road to practice.

Personally for me I feel anytime something bad happens and it involves a young person the society will just tag it yahoo, not to say that there are no yahoo boys but this narrative is getting old even people wey no dey do yahoo still dey kill people for road accidents every now and then.

Similar thing almost happened to me in 2012. My "stubborn" girl didn't hear word. I would go and pick her on Saturdays from where she was doing computer training. On our way back to my house, she would insist on driving the car and I would stupidly be guiding her. On that fateful day, she lost control and hit an "agbo-jedi" Seller that was walking on her own. The lady fell on the road with her load scattered everywhere. Thank God, the incident happened within my area and most people recognised me and offered assistance. I took the injured lady to the hospital and paid for all the wares she had on her pan. It was a very bitter experience. To tell you how funny some people are, her family even wanted to " cashout" from me, despite my treatment of the girl in a highly rated hospital and huge compensation for loss of her goods. The goods didn't even miss as passers-by gently picked everything on the road, except the one inside bottle that got shattered.

Sounds nice of you .. that you more than compensated for the accident. Did.you ever try getting an update on how the victim been managing since? ... has she been going through difficulties as a result of the accident? If you didn't.. ..maybe you should.

@ topic ... did they know the guy to be a Yahoo guy? ...or is it because of the car? The student is killed ... the driver without a license nor insurance ... what happens next? ...a heartfelt apology to the victim's family and she moves on with her life? Is the Police involved in the matter? ..mif they did...would they be interested in holding her accountable? ...or laying hands on the Yahoo guy to extort him? From top to bottom ... people are not held accountable for their actions ... "was a mistake ... everybody make mistakes .. judge not.
