After the ph was taken by the federal troops. Adenkule boast that he will capture Owerri, Aba and Umaahia within a week. Such a delusional soldier!

It takes 3mcdo 6 months to take Ph yet Adenkule believes he can takes Aba , Owerri and Umaahia under One week ? It that even possible?

Maybe he believes he is fighting with children. That why he lead the 3mcdo troops to slaughter house in Owerri. The casualties was so much that Gowon has to replace him Asap.

The i
Reports says , when PH was captured adekunle believed the war was over cause pH airport was the biggest airport left for biafra to import , he said the biafrans were out of arms and starving so he will go all out capture the 3 cities at once and present it as a gift for Gowon to celebrate Nigerian independence , it was towards the end of September so he was rushing to meet up with October 1 which was independence day

Nnamd Kanu and Simon Ekpa wanted us to go back to this war, thank God for not allowing them to succeed, to go back to suffering.
The people that are clamouring for war did not witness biafra war, they should go and ask there great grand parents, they will understand that war is not good,my grandparents and relatives told me war is not good.
That is what Nnamdi Kanu and Simon Ekpa wants to push us into in the name of Biafra.

As it stands now, IBB can do no wrong as far as Igbos are concerned. Just watch from now on how they will call for your head if anyone dare say anything negative about him.
What a people grin

The 3rd Marine Commando failed to capture Umuahia, despite their ruthless vow to shoot anything that moved—or didn’t. If you read about the 1969 recapture of Owerri, you’ll see that their name was an illusion. They weren’t an elite force; they were cannon fodder. Out of 33,000 men, fewer than 1,000 survived—a horrific waste of human life. Babangida, having lived his full life, has nothing to lose by telling the truth. Yet, delusional people still parade themselves as war heroes, despite having waged a campaign of starvation that killed millions of innocent women and children.

There was nothing really the Nigerian military could do in the battle field against Biafra aside the starvation of women and children, no special battle field or battle ground achievement.. Thank God it is coming openly from a war general.

and Wasiu in Ilu Aje with smelly armpits will be beaten his dry cabin biscuits chest
about war Nigeria was obviously overwhelmed
With the help of Egypt Russian Chad Niger etc
Benjamin Adekunle black cockroach and
Muthala Mohammed where the worst commanders in military history they lead there troops to abattoir alter
Adekunle nealy sent his battalion into extinction Muthala lead his own into deadely Abagana Ambush that frustration is why he retreated back and conducted Asaba massacre against Civilians,,
Buhari colllect for Nyash IBB Collect for Chest
OBJ was evacuated Chief of Army Staff then from Benue lost his life ,
Egpty was bombarding market hospitals all over Igboland
Awo introduced food blockades

Actually Igbos had some of the best Officers in Nigeria that time.

Nigeria lost more of military personnels
Biafra lost more of civilians

Igbos are like one of theropod legs keeping Nigeria standing so once they left military then the vacuum was huge,

We all must learn from history

quote author=franchasng post=134248027]later Private Azeez aka Baba Azeez, a low ranking soldier that never crossed Ekiti boundary with Ondo will be the one telling his Yoruba kinsmen how he single handedly defeated Omo Igbo Biafra soldiers and Karim, Olatunde, Hafeez, Ramaotu and Co will be shinning their yellow teeth in ecstacy of the fake story their old soldier baba is telling them cheesy
In a war u are to target enemies military and there
Facilities
Not
Going to Asaba rounding up armless civilians shooting them all
Not going to bomb market School Hospitals
ID Camps

Adekunle was even captured on camera
Shouting I don't wan to see no Red Cross
No professional Military war commander
Can say that as a trained Soldier?
Awo even introduced Food blockade
Those are targeted against civilians

The Biafran Military hierarchy were just amateurish to be honest, shelling and setting IEDs known as ogbunigwe weren't gonna stop the Nigerian military juggernaut from bulldozing their way all over Biafran land. If they had taken heed from their mercenaries from Europe, who had extensive experience fighting guerrilla bush wars all over Africa, they would have allowed for selected sniper scout reconnaissance units to sniff out Nigerian Officers and NCOs leading from the front, if you hit Officers who had extensive and expensive British colonial training like Obasanjo, Buhari,IBB, Danjuma, Abacha, Vatsa, Muritala Mohammed, that black scorpion guy and co, I am sure the war would have been a stalemate..
The British Military were leading and conducting that war. But ofcourse, the Biafrans could have outwitted a people known for centuries of empire building, right?
Then you add that the Ijaw who knew our land quite well was with the Nigerians.
the odds were insurmountable. We won that war by not being wiped out.

nothing really, soldier to soldier they were evenly matched, despite FG forces having better arms and munitions in their numbers.

This my problem with igbos like you.

One hand you boost of killing Nigerian solider in thousands in the war

Another hand you cry about Nigeria soliders genocide against you in the same war.

Delusion at it peak.
It's a war. The Biafran side fought against soldiers but the Nigerian side faced innocent women and children by blocking their access to aid in form of food and medicine.
When you hear genocide, it's what they're talking about, and not any soldiers killed.
Your Nigerian soldiers, seeing they were getting decimated by the Biafran side committed genocide on innocent Biafran women and children

Its a lie..Yorubas don't even talk so much about the civil war, apart from the fight at Ore, the civil war in general is regarded as an Hausa vs ibo thingy, even Obasanjo that eventually ended the war hardly seek praises for it, he felt it was a useless war that shouldn't have been fought.
Stop pretending you've not been on nairaland to see how Yorubas gloat over the war, constantly making snide remarks of how their killed 3million Igbo women and children.

They know your mumu button and they keep pressing it.. Offline there are more important issues to discuss than a war that happened aeons ago, that was not even fought on our soil, even some of our fathers recall only hearing about it on the news.. It never felt like a war was being fought to them.

June 12 is a lot more relevant to us than the civil war.

3 million innocent women and children starved to death, sometimes I just pray Russia, Egypt, Britain will remain absolutely neutral if and when Nigeria goes off orbit. But of course Biafra 2.0 will be a much smarter war with technology , all the food industry, farms, farm storage , food markets, food shops , fruits, fruit spots can be obliterated within a short period.

Ojukwu had a very big ego, so did Gowon.

Both rejected sound advice that would have been advantageous to both military operations and the preservation of lives.

But looking at their ages then and the immense local and international pressure they were both on, I choose to cut them some slack.
