How long would it take. Still wondering o. There's a site that's only bush that recently has been cleared and built but still showing bush on Google maps.


There's a big Land that was full of thick forest. When you check it on Google maps the site is full of bush. So recently it has been cleared and a gigantic hotel has been built there.

But on Google maps it's still showing thick forest.


There's an uncompleted building for years, if you check on Google maps it's been showing up as uncompleted, that is a house without roof. Recently The building has been roofed,but still showing uncompleted building on Google maps.

So this begs the question

How long would it take to display current building and what's the process?

Do you have to submit your building, or an agency would do it, or the satellites would do it automatically or?

I think there’s a suggestion link on google map. Just contact and notify them for the update.

Why do you want everything about you to be on Google maps. Do you know it's a security threat. Most countries and companies building themselves maps allow the military use them for identifying structures, locations to bomb during war like it is in Ukraine. Guilded missiles use information available from the Google maps and other maps from other countries. Though self driven cars use the maps too. But for a country like Nigeria that has no equipment to jam satellite services nationwide and has no electronic warfare equipment, we should not be praying or actively pushing to have every structure mapped out on Google maps. Because that will give out your exact location and coordinates to foreign or western and Asian millitaries who know how to use them to remotely bomb you

Bro I'm not here to argue about allowing properties to be on map and all that.


I just want to know what it takes to include or update buildings or features on Google maps.
