I Do Not Negotiate With Blackmailers, Criminals – Governor Otti (Video) by Metrix147(op): 1:39pm On Feb 24, 2025
Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, has vowed never to negotiate with individuals blackmailing his administration through the media, declaring that those removed from power in 2023 will never return.

Speaking on Sunday, February 23, 2025, at the Grand Finale of the Power World Ministries 2025 Gospel Festival in Umuahia, Governor Otti assured Rev. Dr. Uma Ukpai, members of Power World Ministries, and all Abians that his government remains committed to the people’s welfare and progress.

“I want to congratulate all of you and thank God for keeping you alive to witness this festival. My prayer is that we will all be here again next year.”

Governor Otti expressed gratitude for Rev. Dr. Uma Ukpai’s endorsement and the commendation from Rev. Dr. Uche Ume, stating that their recognition affirms that his administration is delivering on its promises.

The governor reaffirmed his stance against engaging with individuals who promote false narratives against his government, insisting that those who once thrived on corruption will not return to power.

“Anytime you see people supporting evil, they have already started derailing. Some individuals attack us in the media, but as the book of Jeremiah says, ‘They will fight us, but they will never prevail.’”

God removed certain people through the backdoor in 2023, and they will never return. Now, they want us to negotiate with them, but I say this clearly—I do not negotiate with criminals. This government was brought in by God Himself. They did everything in their power to stop us, but God said no.”

Governor Otti assured the people that Abia State would never return to the dark days of misgovernance.

“For those who think things will go back to the way they were, I want to assure them—it will never happen again.”

Those were dark days in Abia State. The devil really used certain individuals to stifle the growth and peace of the people of God's own state.

This is the first time since the creation of Abia State that they have a Governor. Ikpeazu wanted to lead but failed because he listened to these people in a bid to secure a second term.

Abia will get it right with Otti

Honestly, politics aside, I like this current crop of SE Governors. Na as you bring am you go collect.

They are established people outside politics and now want to make a name for themselves in politics. May God help them not to be like that political pensioner who stole Abia state for 8 years and is now doing houseboy for the North in the Senate.

Instead of an OUK and his gang to go near power, let Otti continue.

They are the ones who frustrated him out of APC.

We're all saints today, but the truth remains that the Labour party of today in Abia state was the PDP of yesterday. Only the gullible is deceived. Who were those that looted the state treasury dry between 2008 and 2015. Who was the one always introduced as 'my personal friend '. When did these criminals invade Abia state? Who are they? Has the invasion stopped? Only time will tell.

sad to say but he's not completely wrong.
Alex is better than the previous governor in terms off building roads but you see civil servants and pensioners, they are suffering under this administration with constant verification, dubious deductions from thier salaries, writing off of pensioners pension and gratuity, beaurucratic delay of commencement of minimum wage etc.
Honestly If you want to enjoy this life, find a way to live outside of the Nigerian government as a civil servant.
