Imo: Police Intensify Action To End Monday Sit-At-Home Threat by iamfraud(op): 2:52pm On Feb 24, 2025

The Imo State Police Command, in collaboration with other security agencies, has intensified operations to completely eradicate any form of sit-at-home threat in the state, particularly outside the Owerri metropolis.

A statement by the Command’s spokesperson, DSP Henry Okoye, informed that joint security forces is conducting a large-scale show-of-force and confidence-building patrol across Owerri, Okigwe and Orlu zones to reassure residents and tackle criminal activities.

Okoye said the operation demonstrates the commitment of security agencies to dismantling criminal networks attempting to instill fear and disrupt socio-economic activities in the state.

He added that the increase in security presence is to ensure that residents can go about their lawful businesses without intimidation.

“The Commissioner of Police, CP Aboki Danjuma, assures the public of continued security efforts and urges residents to cooperate by reporting suspicious activities to the nearest police station or via 08148024755, 0803 477 3600,” he stated.

Okoye, reassured members of the public that the State Police Command remains resolute in maintaining peace and order.

The police should leave them Biko. I am happy they no longer blame, DSS, Police, NA and Fulanis as those responsible for Sit at home.
If you want definition of cowardice, look no further. Even Aboki no reach that level. Of all the atrocities of Shekau never was there a moment he ordered sitting at home for the people but a frausder in far away land ordered a whole region to sit at home every Monday. Shame

Even Awo would not have been able to, I guess that is why they are sophisticated people. They will refuse point blank to accept such.

Especially when Simon Ekpa's son in Finland is going to school on that same Monday that other people's children are being brutalised by his goons as they put on their uniform and head to schools in ala igbo. Ndi Yoruba would never have accepted such a hypocritical situation.
