Because ehheeen I don’t understand what’s happening again..similar thread like this on twitter, I saw Nigerians saying they’ll rather make it in Nigeria than japa and spend 30million naira from their hard earned money ..I thought they all were kidding..here on Nairaland again people don’t seem to be bothered about japa again unlike before when u see us saying we will rather die in America prison than to be successful in Nigeria’..

Something has changed I don’t know what it is. Maybe the cost of japa is discouraging them or the recent anti immigration stance from those countries

I currently have an Msc scholarship with monthly stipends that classes will start next month, but I don't have the money to process my Visa and pay for flight.
If only I can even get the money to process the Visa and hustle by all means to get flight money.

Currently in my ultimate year in the university on a 4.74, with evidences. My future is quite bleak as I have been down with project work which requires funding. I have also been advised by my Lecturer to consider United Kingdom, Manchester to be precise for my Post graduate studies. If I can get funding for my project and seminar works, there's a scholarship on the line for me.

I know an American family that moved back to Nigeria (Port Harcourt) with their children (the man was in Nigeria before). They so love the community/family love, the comparatively cheap organic foods, family values and discipline in child raising etc. Their only wahala is Power.

Relocating abroad is similar to moving from village to Lagos. Many will make it. Many will fall behind. There is no one size fits all.

There are Nigerians abroad who still feel like village people are on their cases.

I used to dream about leaving Nigeria and staying abroad when I was younger, I hated Nigeria and fantasized about abroad like most people today. abroad was like heaven to me and now, it is a 360-degree turn for me, In fact, there was a day this past January I slept and dreamt about being in Lagos, having fun at a club, I was so happy in that dream and enjoying myself until I heard my name called, I woke up to my daughter calling my name to come drop her off in the school. I woke up to snow and a minus 15 degree Celsius of temperature and I got angry immediately for waking up. That is how bad it is but most people never want to admit it.

What I actually need is around 3M. 2M for flight, 500k for authentication of my documents, payment of legalization fees, courier and Visa fees, the balance is to pay for accommodation for the first one month and miscellaneous before I start receiving my stipends.

Once he get to Canada, the government pays $7Million dollars to Nigerian immigrant at the airport. This money is for them to use before they start working. Most Nigerians in Canada work and get nothing less than 1Million dollars per week. That’s Canada for you bro.

And if you sold ur kidney or two eyes before u leave, when you get there just tell them. They’re advanced country bro and it’s not hard to create another kidney and eyes for you. This is abroad we’re talking about bro

Because of the under utilized opportunities in Nigeria, I am into agro allied Enterprise i.e animal and feeds production and I will like to invest more in agricultural production because what we need as a country is to promote efficiency in manufacturing, agriculture and trade. So I am staying back in Naija ooo my opinion.
